| ![]() I'm wondering if anyone knows of a supplement that helps to soften the stool. It seems like Bailey is straining a tiny little bit when he poops. Today a little bit of blood came out. It was not a lot, not even a droplet. It literally looked as if it was a tiny smear from if a human wipes. So I was thinking maybe I need to look into a stool softener. He completely fine otherwise and his bm's were fine the rest of the day. Any thoughts?

| ![]() He has pumpkin with every meal. His pet nutritionist believes he needs it every with every meal because he has IBD and chronic pancreatitis.

| ![]() They worked better then the pumpkin for my ShihTzu as he was eating 1/2 of a large can of pumpkin a day & still his poo was rock hard . He now has to have the Metamucil Clear & Natural mixed in with every meal. You don't need to puree them just cut them in half. Last edited by lillymae; 03-04-2012 at 07:23 PM. |

| ![]() Do you have an approximate % fiber for all food together? Are you sure it's too little fiber and not too much? Or the wrong kind..? While Ellie gets pumpkin sometimes, she could never have a lot. It makes her stool very soft.
