OMG I would have panicked too!! Glad she was safe and just shut up in the bathroom:eek: I know every one of your worst fears runs through your mind, when something like this happens. Jada went out onto the screened porch when I did once and I didn't realize it. It was about 10 minutes before I missed her. Miss barks her head off at every noise, didn't make a sound when I was calling for her. Geesh!! I know exactly how you feel:p |
Been there, done that.....it's the most horrible feeling of panic. Luckily it ended well. Whewwww........... |
What a relief :D. My Cali does not bark and I have had a few heart-stopping moments like that. I have a friend who puts a bell on her Yorkie:) |
So glad she was in the bathroom. :) Silly pups, they know how to make the heart skip a beat. I got home one day and Bella was no where to be found, so my mind went crazy thinking someone stoled her. Nope she was in our bathroom and the door closed behind her and she couldn't get out. Boy we were so glad to see each other. Bless their little selves. |
When I was away from home at college many, many years ago, my mom almost lost her Yorkie puppy when my sister accidentally locked her in the bathroom. We were lucky she survived because there was a heat lamp in the bathroom and she could have gotten dehydrated very quickly. I'm not sure if they have them today, but needless to say, that experience really scared me. I think I'd be afraid to have one in case a little one accidentally got locked in there. I also wonder about heated tile too. It is such a terrifying feeling when they get lost inside the home. I'm glad you found Mikki unharmed. I understand why you love her so. |
Oh No! Thankfully she is alright. I can totally relate to that horrible feeling. I just had a scare like this the other day. My boys left the front gate open and I was taking the groceries down from the truck. I realized that she had gotten out and couldn't find her anywhere! We live right on a busy road so I was freaking out. I even got my boys worried. We ended up finding her sitting in the front seat, as if she were waiting for us to go for a ride. May I add... that was the last place we looked after like 4 mins. lol Ugh! Such a terrible feeling though! |

Gracie has done that to me twice. Sheer panic. I put a bell on her after the first time. I thought only my kids could make my heartbeat with such anxiety! |

Ha-ha! It does scare you to death. Kacee used to get shut in closets when she was a puppy.:D |
I was crying and everything. I really thought something had happened to her. Oh my gosh the relief when we found her!! |
