I always wanted a stroller for Peanut, but never really found any cool ones. I wanted the 4 wheel one bc I think it looks more like a "real stroller"

What do you all think about the camo...? I think Peanut would look super metro in this!!

Does anyone have strollers? Do you have the 4 wheel or 3 wheel? Which one is better?

Where can you get away with taking them in the stoller??

I like the idea of the stroller for busy fairs and events where they can get stepped on. It would also be good to toss a blanket over and go into the mall :p

I usually carry my two in their Kwigy Bo, but they can get pretty heavy... so a stroller would be nice for longer walks. I know my two love walking, but they do get tired when we spend the entire day downtown shopping, so it would be convenient to toss them in a stroller after they are tired. A stroller would also be nice to hold bags, my purse and drinks.

I have to say, I'm envious of the moms that have those huge strollers that can carry everything. It definitely looks convenient!

:D Well, Peanut will not go in a purse, bag, tote, Kwigy Bo or anyting else for that matter. He would rather be on the ground. The whole purpose of the stroller for me is to sneak him in places, the mall, movies, shopping, etc etc :D
I wish Peanut would go in bags, but that is a lost cause. I never put him in one when he was a puppy I would just carry him, so he was never use to it. Now he wont touch one with a 10ft pole LoL

Actually I got the stroller for summertime when the pavement and sidewalks are hot. It also keeps me from being nervous about big dogs and kids running towards her. Of course she thinks she would rather walk until she feels how hot the pavement is.

Do you ever take Gracie in her stroller where she is not "allowed"?

I think if you got a human looking dog stroller, you would be able to take him almost everywhere (except bars :p Couv and Khloe have been in bars before... lol). Otherwise, I think you could pretty much go anywhere especially if he's quiet and you have a blanket covering him.

I've tried to convince DH of a stroller, but he's not into it :confused:

I had an older dog once that had trouble walking and I bought a baby stroller at a garage sale, she stayed put but if yours does not you would have to figure a way to harness them in, but paid hardly anything. also check on craigs list and used clothing and baby stores, if you want to save money. It will be interesting if someone says, ohhhhh let me see your baby! She adapted to it really well, but my other dog was freaked out having to walk next to a stroller, it turned allot of heads in the neighborhood with people thinking I suddenly got a baby

;) LoL When Pnut was a pup DH took him to a strip club and Hooters!! LoL I was at work at the time and I had no idea!!

That is funny DH loves the idea of Pnut's stroller LoL Plus Pnut having grade 4 LP and having surgery this year I think it will benefit us!

Yes, definitely! That will be great to be able to get him out without him having to walk after his surgery. When is he having his surgery?

LoL- Well my friend had a pet stroller we went to the mall together and put both our dogs in there, This was Pnut's first time in a stroller and he did really good- He just laid down, looked around and didn't say a peep- Peanut isnt a barker, only at home when he hears things or someone knocks!

That stroller that I like is only 45$ so that is not that bad, I am like a germ nut so I wouldn't want to get a used one :D

:( In June/July I'm so nervous for him, but he really needs it- His limp is getting pretty bad, it has calmed down a little bc it isn't as cold, but it is still sad to see.

Well it's good that you've seen how he handles a stroller... It sounds like it would definitely be worth it. For $45, you might as well go new... Then you know no ones dog has pooped in it or anything :p

Poor guy, hopefully the surgery makes everything better... The stroller will be nice so he can get out and enjoy the sunshine while his running/walking is restricted.

Ya he loves to go everywhere with me, so I personally think he would enjoy the stroller, I know he loves to walk and sniff and all that, but I know if he was in his stroller and with me he would def compromise!

No. I just take her to outdoor events and parks in the nice weather. I have taken her in stores in her little bag that I carry for her but we don't really have signs around here about dogs. It's not really an issue because little dogs are just about unheard of here. When I go to the mall I leave her home because I don't want to have to worry about her having to go out. If I want to do some serious shopping she does not want to be around!

I have a 4 wheel stroller for Mags and Jazzie and they totally love it. People actually make fun of me for having it and having them in it. I've gotten so sick and tired of the rude remarks. The reason I wanted it was for safety purposes and I didn't want them picking up anything in pet stores that they'd get sick from. Mags has a compromised immune system so I have to be extra careful with her. Also, I can take a towel and get it all wet, fold it and put it in a big freezer bag and toss it in the freezer. On really hot summer days, I can still walk her in her stroller and keep her cool by placing the frozen towel under a blanket in her stroller, it keeps her nice and cool and I don't have to worry about her becoming over heated which has happened before I go the stroller. Plus, one of the other reasons I like it, it keeps well meaning people from sticking their hands out to pet Mags. She loves everybody, but not when I'm holding her, if anyone goes to touch her when I'm holding her, she growls and snaps, I don't want her biting anyone, so having the stroller has been a huge help. Sure wished instead of people making fun of me, they'd ask my reasons for having one and having the furkids in it.

I was just looking at strollers on ebay last night & I like the camo but I like the one with cup holders & it has a little tray to keep keys & things & a pocket on the back to carry other things in as well plus the under carriage basket & I think it was under $60.00.

This reminds me - i need to go upstairs and drag down the dog stroller and get it cleaned up for this year.

I have a Dog Stroller for my Grandma's Chihuahua. Her Chihuahua loves the stroller. We usually use it when we go to flea markets and such. We put her bed and a water bowl in the stroller and zip it up. The stroller is nice because it can hold all our purchases, purses, phones, keys, etc. along with the dog. I'm sure I will use the stroller with Delilah as well.

We bought a stroller for dickie and he hates it. We bought it just so we could enter certain hotels discretely. This was after we tried a bag/purse. He is fine in the car, loves to drive, but when we put him in a bag, or stroller he throws up. We decided that we would rather avoid such places that we need to hide hide him, rather than have him feel not so good. we plan our excursions accordingly.
As far as we are concerned, it feels silly pushing a dog around in a stroller. He would much rather walk...run. He does have a car seat which he loves. used to just want to sit on me when i drove, but know he just wants to be in his seat. Can hardly get him out of it. I sort of miss him sitting on my lap. as annoying as it can be at times. He is all about the car seat.

Well I wont feel silly pushing Pnut around- I cant wait!!

If your little guy likes it, then have fun. Our guy could not stand it. He threw up the first two times, and on the third attempt he did nothing but try to tear himself out of the stroller. While i sure do not think its silly for someone to put their pup in a stroller( we bought one for that very reason), it looks silly nonetheless. No matter how many times i see a dog in a stroller, it makes me laugh. It just looks wrong. Sorry if that upsets a few, but i just cant get used to it. I figure i can say that since i bought one myself. Love to be able to use it, but Dickie just hates it, and we decided it was just not worth him being so stressed about it.
