I dont take Muffin out much cause its getting colder now and I am scared of getting in trouble and having to leave him in the car. I wish everyone allowed pets or at least certain types. |
I take Rosi everywhere, but yesterday i was told in a store not to bring my animal anymore, i told them ,not only wont they see my animal anymore ,they wont see me anymore either, put my stuff down and left...hehe... moving out of town next week anyway:) |

I take Shelby everywhere but she is zipped up in my purse. I don't care if I am breaking rules. She is probably a LOT cleaner than the stuff some people carry in their purse. She is learning the word "hide" so if she isn't allowed she ducks and I zip. |

I've been taking mine for years. Not the grocery stores or restaurants other than a bar in the airport. I try not to make too much attraction. I don't ask, just take her in. There are a couple stores that the employees insist on passing her around and don't like me taking her home! :p |
In NYC, we are pretty lucky; it is a very dog friendly place. You can even bring your dog to Bergdorf's!!! I take Chewy out a lot and always bring a carrier. In my neighborhood everyone loves to see him and people ask where he is if I don't have him. I've never had a problem but do respect it when people say NO PETS. I wonder though, do they have a right to ask what's in your bag  |
I wish I could but in the state of Arizona it is illegal to leave a dog in a car even during the winter months and believe me people will call the cops. LOVE IT. On the weekends when I do my errands I usually am in a grocery store and it is against state health codes to have an animal in the store and since I can't leave them in the car even if it is for 1 minute they miss alot of my running around. |

That's what I was thinking! It's a little forward. |
No I don't think store security can make you show them whats in any bag you have, but they do have the right to detain you till authoritys arrive. I really don't think anyone would go to that length over a pet in a bag though. I think they would have to say they thought you were shoplifting or something. |
Just yesterday, I was asked to leave the store when I tried to enter with my baby. Of course, it was Wal-Mart and I WAS holding him in my arms. Crazy I know!!!!!! I should have known they wouldn't let me in. But I also agree with the smoking thing. Even when they have a smoking and non-smoking section they are so close to each other that it doesn't seperate them that much in the first place. I TOTALLY agree about my dog would most definitely behave better than most of those children in that store. I guess I just need to become more accustomed to leaving him at home. Poor baby!!!! |
I have taken alfie and Lottie to the Mall and it was fine as I carried one and the other was in a bag . but I have been asked to leave a Home Depo type store. But when I went to Milan Italy people had their dogs everywhere , we went to a restuarant and the couple at the next table had dogs who where sitting on the chairs at the table , as if they were going to have a meal, everywhere was so pet friendly. |
Just about yeah. I have some nice carriers from work that look like purses. No one has ever even noticed it's a dog carrier. he's gone to restaurants with me, grocery shopping, to the mall, and just about everywhere else! lol |
stop it you guys!!! lol, you're making me wanna take my boys with me, but they're a bit hefty for that! jk, but still! i wish i could tote them everywhere with meeee! |
