Viv I do all of Jada and Bogie's grooming. In the winter I use a 4f or 5f blade and cut against the hair growth from tail to neck. I don't do anything to the legs except trim them a little when they get too long. The leg area is a lot longer now than it is in those pictures. In the warm months I use a 7f blade and also cut against the hair growth pattern. You get a much smoother look if you go against the growth. You can see the legs better in this picture of Bogie...and I love that it looks like he is in full coat with his clothes on:) You will have to post pics after the haircuts!! |
THANK YOU!!!!!!! I'm so scared to do it, will prob take them to a groomer and have them shave them. I would be so scared to hurt them, I do bathe and trim them myself, but the trimmer freaks me out!! :) Viv |
Our two are always in a puppy cut. It keeps them young.:) Pam |
Maybe I can watch some youtube videos and figure it out. I don't really trust groomers and hate the fact my boys have to be in cages and I have to leave them there for hours. Can you please tell me which trimmer you have/use? Thanks a million....I'm in love with that cut!! Viv |
