Not a buddy belt but will do for now... 2 Attachment(s) IT IS PRETTY CUTE TOO AND 1/2 THE COST. ALTHOUGH I DO HAVE HIS BUDDY BELT ALREADY PICKED OUT THAT I AM GOING TO BUY WHEN HE IS A YEAR OLD. (THE PLAID ONE, LOVE IT.) I WANT TO MAKE SURE HE IS PRETTY MUCH FULL GROWN FIRST. THIS ONE I BOUGHT AT WWW.JEFFERSPET.COM FOR $18.95 PLEASE EXCUSE HIS SLEEPY BOY LOOK , I MADE HIM MODEL THIS AT 5:30 AM.. LOL !! |
Sleepy little boy!! :) That's the Choke Free isn't it? I had one of those shipped over for Harry about 5 months ago - we still love it and would never change it now (apart from to get loads more colours, or if he needed a bigger one of course! ;) :D). Enjoy! Sally + Harry x |
Yeah, it is the the choke free. That would be cool if they got more colors. It is a great harness. |
We got ours from www.freidaspetboutique.com - it's worth a look! Sally + Harry x |
Wow,that is so awesome. They have tons of colors. Jeffers only has like 3 plain colors. Maybe i will stick with the choke free harness... Thanks so much.... |
I went to Jefferspet website because $20 is a great price for a Choke-free. However, they only have even sizes. Betty Boop wears an odd size. Too bad. We love our Choke-free. |
Yeah, i know that is one flaw about jeffers. They don't have much of a selection for sizes and colors.... I got oscar the smallest size which is 14" even that is a little too big but for now he can wear it over a sweater.... |
I bookmarked Freidas, love the choke free collars, they do look so nice. |
Joyce, yeah freidas has some really nice colors and patterns |
We have purchased about 9 Choke free harnesses now from Freida's!! Sugar owns 3 and the rest were gifts!! They are made right here in Merritt Island, Florida! I like that they are more comfy to wear than the buddy belts! |

Trouble is, 'over here' we've got the choice of so many different harnesses etc. - but none like the Choke Free or Buddy Belt. I chose the Choke Free because I liked the D ring going through doubled up, crossed over velcro. Others (of course!! ;)) will disagree, but I personally found it much easier than fiddling with a buckle. It was very difficult of course to try and sort out sizing etc from all this way away - basically I knew I had to get it right! Dee at Freidas was amazing - she talked me through every step (by email) - all in all a wonderful long-distance shopping experience! I wouldn't hesitate in going back to her (+ look at all those colours!! ;) :D) Sally + Harry x |

It's called an opinion for a reason. Everyone has one ;)~;) |

It was invented and designed by NASA for that reason. I guess this debate will always rage on...!!! ;) :D |

I personally choose an engineer from NASA who was problem solving for his own dog but a LOT of people love the BB. I'm sure there is room on YT for both harness choices and our opinions There is no break in period either so no need for those liners that BB sells to stop chafing |

Well the main reason i chose the choke free at this time is the cost. Later i plan on buying the buddy belt. I guess then i will see if oscar is more comfortable with a specific one. Then go with that one. |
Just like food or grooming products, I don't think there is one harness that is the best for every single dog and their humans. Looking good Oscar!:) |
I have Buddy Belts for Jada and Bogie, but I like the look of the choke free too. I am of the mindset that you can never have too many of anything:D I would love to try the choke free for Jada to wear under her nicer dresses when we go out. |
I use a Buddy Belt also but might try the Choke Free. I like having a spare harness (well actually a few). I will say with the Buddy Belt I had to "introduce" it to Sophie Kate she was not a fan at first. Question, did someone say the Choke Free attaches with Velcro? I looked at the picture that was posted it thats what it looks like to me. |

I have both. I do think the Choke Free seems more comfortable. It's more "flimsy" sort of... the leather is definitely not as thick and there is no big buckle on the back. However I use the Buddy Belt more but I am keeping both because I find sometimes one is better than the other in different circumstances. Only reason I don't like Choke Free as much is because it's not really adjustable. You HAVE to get your dogs correct size as there is no way for it to adjust (it's why they sell it by sizes 10, 11, 12, etc - if your pup has a 12" girth, you get a size 13" and it won't adjust bigger or smaller). Your boy looks ADORABLE! I love the red. :) |
