Every one please laugh... Hello everyone I just want to ask if everyone is having a good day.. I feel everyone should right now stop and think about one funny thing that has happen today and post it..because we all need a laugh.. I have been having a pretty funny day because when you're off funny things tend to happen to you..I think life is to short to fight and be angry.. so I'll start : Today I started the morning like every morning got up washed my face when to check my son shower and give Brandy bfast... but I couldn't find her.. I found it finda funny because I crated her because she just got spayed.. I looked everywhere up and down and still couldn't find her so I as DH were did he put her.. and he said you mean her.. he laughed and said she has been following you around since you called her..lol she looked at me like weres my food woman... I thought it was pretty funny because I must have been having a clueless moment this morning..lol who knew.. |
Well my funny thing is something that happens every morning but it is cute and funny. I have a cat that has to have a morning fix of coffee. After I am done with my coffee I usually leave some in the cup that I dont finish. Any way she will jump on the counter and stick her paw in then lick her paw clean and do it over and over untill shes had her fill of coffee. My MIL says we need to video it and put it online and let it go viral |

LOL...Mia is my shadow, also...sometimes when I am looking around for her to make sure I do not step on her (I was 'cat trained' already lol), she can be so hard to see because she is always directly behind me. lol I hope this is not a 'bad' story to tell...it was certainly amusing to us when it occurred Monday evening. DH is usually home from work before me with enough time to take Brody and Mia for a walk outside, feed kitties and puppies, and sometimes start dinner. The "Mommy's Home!" phenomenon at our house always brings much excitement, and since they know the sound of the truck and my motorcycle, and outside will run to the driveway but inside, bounce, hop, dance, yip, err, whine, and run to the door, etc. DH always knows when I am home! lol Monday night, they were outside as usual doing their 'thing' when they heard our truck. Knowing Mommy was home, they lit out at light-speed-plus-Yorkie-squared running to the driveway to meet me. I saw a kitty ' out on watch' in the driveway first, then saw a flash of Yorkie-ness or two from the side out of the corner of my eye , and stopped the truck immediately...as I always do when any of my babies are around. When I opened the door, Mi was there first...but there was a reason. Brody had been in 'mid-poopie' when the truck first appeared and when Mia lit out, so did he...still in 'mid-poopie-crouch' position...still poopie-ing on-the-run! DH couldn't even pretend to catch them...what with rolling on the ground with laughter! It was difficult enough for him to tell me about it...he had to stop talking to laugh. It was the first time he'd seen a dog 'multi-task' in that way! :D Hope this was not considered 'in bad taste' or a poor excuse for humor!:p:D |

I s'pose I'd also have to admit, then, that my youngest son at about a year or two old LOVED coffee and would 'steal' it out of my cup if I wasn't looking. Worried about the heat...I like my coffee straight out of the brewer...lol...I finally resorted to fixing him 'coffee milk' which was mostly milk slightly flavored with coffee...and this was a child who would swing from the ceiling while anesthetized...like me when I was growing up, if you can believe my 'lying' mom! Come to think...I've never quite outgrown that...lol |

Okay...one more... Our last dog was a large (120+ lb.) black Shep/Lab...one of the sweetest, smartest dogs you could ever hope to meet. He was also a great assistant and companion. One day, several years ago, my DH and oldest son were working on vehicle brakes in the driveway. DS was also eating some cookies. He was down to his last cookie when DH required his assistance, and DS, needing to do something with the last cookie to free his hands, asked Ziggy if he would "hold this" for him...which helpful Ziggy was only too happy to do. After DS completed DH's assigned task, DS asked Ziggy for his cookie back. Ziggy, only too happy to oblige, walked to the side of the driveway, onto the grass, and 'hunched over' into a 'poopie crouch' in a failed attempt to comply with the request. DH and DS 'bout killed themselves with laughter, and as usual, when these things happen, no one was filming the spectacle! lol Not going for the 'bad taste' record, here...lmao :p |

Ponuding them out..lol.. here's a really funny one.. Brandy loves DH she always seems to know when he's coming in to the apartment.. so one day he's coming in and says did mommy give you what I left you she barked.. then he said to her you got something for me.. she barked again.. he followed her to the office only to find what she got him is a poop pile..lol |

My first Yorkie was a Yorkie-Poo. He was the epitome of a perfect dog...so smart, funny, cuddly, loving, and wonderful! He knew it, too. He liked to be primped and liked getting his way, although he was incredibly well-trained and ...dare I say, obedient? I always put a bit of baby powder on him after his bath and he loved it...loved being brushed, and cared for. Once, after moving into a new place, he got a couple fleas. This was before spot-on flea preventatives, etc., so I mixed a little flea powder in with the baby powder...but there was no fooling him. He snubbed me, complete with the little elevated 'aloof' nose-in-the-air muzzle and squinted eyes...and continued to do so, checking every now and then to see if I was still watching. The snubbing was something he would do any time he really wanted (or didn't want) something. I did get a photo of it once. I also had another Shep/Lab who, as she got older, began to suffer hearing loss...or so it seemed. She was also voice and signal trained, so, believing she couldn't hear well, I would make certain she was looking dead at me and give her a hand signal. One day, I gave her a "sit" signal, and poof...she spun her head and eyes up and away, as if to say, "I didn't see/hear that." I thought it odd, so waited until she was looking at me again, and signaled her again. She repeated the "I didn't see/hear you" behavior. DH and I were laughing hysterically. She was a really funny one, Honey. She thought, once, when DH approved his dog to do something by saying something about "getting him" that she had been approved to "get' the cat...although she knew quite well that her approval command was "all yours" and you could see on her face the elation...which I quelled immediately...followed by the most dejected-looking face I think I have ever seen on a dog. OMGosh...there are really so many funny stories. No wonder we just love our babies to death the way we do!!! lol |

A funny poop thread to read from the past is - What is the strangest thing your yorkie ever pooped? It was one of the funniest threads of all time |

Here is a funny story...although NOT as funny as a good poop story! When my Quincy was younger my neighbor had a young cat (Fuzzy)who she would let go outdoors and who's favorite place to go would soon become my front porch, yea me! At first I didn't mind her coming. Quincy would get into his little playful mode and do the doggy dance wanting to interact with her. I could always tell when Fuzzy was on the porch. Quincy would go into play mode while sitting on the opposite site of our full view glass door. I had no fears that if he got out of him doing anything to her because he grew up with a cat (Sheena) who had passed away a few months earlier. So we did a few test runs with him on his leash just to see how things went. They did very well together. After a while I though each was "playing nice" I would let them go out into the fenced in yard to play. Once Fuzzy saw Quincy she would follow us right into the yard. This went on for months and it was nice that Quincy had a play mate. Well I did this several times until one day we go out into the yard. I'm going about my business (I am so laughing right now) doing my gardening when out of the corner of my eye "I see Quincy running for his life, dragging his dear friend Fuzzy around the back yard, attached to his hair". (I am still laughing, now with tears in my eyes) I was laughing so uncontrollably I almost pees myself. After I gained control, I'm out in the yard chasing the two of them around yelling Quincy stop / Quincy come. But he was so freaked out by the whole thing he wouldn't listen to me. I must have chased them around the yard for at least 10-15 mins. Finally, I got to him and helped Fuzzy release her Death Grip! :dogwalk: Just pretent that the baloon is a cat and you get the idea...lol. It was one of the highlights of that summer that year! |
