				   | Try adding a little water to it. Also I think at Petco they sell food bowls that help to slow down fast eaters. |

				   | Bogie does the same thing and has almost choked to death twice...slow feed bowls..warm water and I grind about half of his portion of kibble in a coffee grinder now too. You do have to add water as it is really fine and he could inhale the ground kibble into his nostrils if you don't wet it.

				   | Ian would eat his kibble in two seconds if it weren't for his Kong Wobbler! We tried the bowl with little compartments (sections), but that didn't really work for him. The Wobbler makes him work for his food, and it now takes him about 10 minutes to eat his 1/4 cup. You can only put dry kibble in it, so if your baby eats can food, it wouldn't work. Here's the link, with reviews! PetSmart - KONG Wobbler Dog Treat Dispenser and Feeding Toy customer reviews - product reviews - read top consumer ratings

				   | This is the slow feed bowl that Max uses: This has slowed his food consumption down enormously. Highly recommended

				   | I'm not sure what size I have. I'm actually looking for soemthing similar in ceramic or a better quality material than plastic but can't seem to find anything else.

				   | Another thing you can do, that I got from a dog trainer friend of mine is to use 2 or 3 large pebbles in the bowl. When I used to have an inhaler I used this trick & it worked well but you have to find ones that the dog can't get into it's mouth & choke on. I found some glass ice cubes at JoAnnes fabric that were a good size & that's what I used. My friend suggested larger pebbles , like river rock pebbles. |
