High value treats for mine are veggies and Zukes. They love carrots and beans, and even go for cucumber now too. They also go nuts for Wellness chicken jerkey... I rip it into 4 pieces and they stay soft forever. Expensive, but it works great for training and because each treat is ripped into 4, it lasts a while. |
Katie Scarlett just got some of those Cesar Treats in the 'filet mignon' flavor and she loves them! We break them up too. She only gets them when she goes to the potty in the right spot. We were having a bit of trouble after he spay with accidents so we had to step back a bit in potty training. She is now back on the right track. So 1 treat lasts us about 4-5 visits to the potty pad. KS loves the Gerber Graduate Sweet Potato puffs too. We use turkey weenies for training treats at puppy class. She also likes cheese. We usually get those little individual sticks at the store. They are white. We cut them up into teeny tiny pieces. She also loves bananas. I tried green beans but she wasn't too crazy about those. She also hates carrots, but I know many said their's loved carrots. She also hates Cheerios but I know many like those too. She just doesn't like any of the crunchy type treats. Even when they give her one at the pet store she will only lick at it for a minute. |
