What is Cluster Stuff? RE: Cloud 9 bed - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Hi,

I ordered Bella & Sprout a Cloud 9 bed this evening from YHR and I'm wondering what "Cluster Stuff" is? That's what they are filled with. When I googled it, it said it wasn't like other polyfills and explained it as coils..which confused me.

I was going to e-mail Yorkie Haven but I know they're probably very busy with IMPORTANT things, so I don't want to bug them about a bed.

Can anyone verify that these *don't* have those little balls of pellets in them? Bella can't be around anything that has that kind of filling, because she finds a way to eat them right through the outer fabric...without creating a noticeable hole. I DO watch her...but she is a very sneaky little girl.

I found that link as well..but it just says 'stuffing fiber'...lol. I'm thinking (hoping really) that it is pretty much just 'stuffing', but non-clumping? That's what I'm understanding from most of these sites.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't the fiber-fill that is little pellets. =/

I love the cluster stuff, is really lil bits of polyester fiber that is very light and cut in lil clumps so it will not clump up like regular polyfill.. I use it in the body of my dolls..

Yes, that's what cluster stuff is! If you look at it closely it has lots of little spirally shaped polyfill. You can buy it at Walmart. I used it to add extra squoosh to the cushion that came with ZoE's car seat (and then used the left over to re-stuff toys she'd destroyed.)

Thank you everyone! I just found out that the pellets I am thinking of are called polypellets and this Cluster Stuff says nothing about those, so I'm pretty sure it's pellet-free.

You can't buy cluster stuff at Walmart only Amazon, ebay, and Hobbly Lobby.

When did they start reselling it? I looked everyplace in Oct. for it. I had to drive over 45 minutes to Hobby Lobby to get some. Amazon was $11 + shipping for 16 oz.

No pellets and your Bella is going to love it!!! Cloud 9 beds are the best...I'm sorry I waited so long to get one.

I have not seen it in walmart , I live about 15 miles of 2 walmart stores and none of the carries it anymore I have to get it from Joann's fabric stores at a much higher price.
