To Snoozer, or not to Snoozer? Debating on getting a snoozer car seat. We have two different onces for my and DH's car now, but I think Gizmo would be more comfortable in something that has a little bit higher sides so he felt more secure. So, my lovely Yt'ers where did you get your snoozer for a decent price? And were you satisfied? |
My Harry boy loves the snoozer seat, and the girls too.. here's some pictures of Harry on Halloween we went for a drive to the store.. I highly recomend a snoozer seat they are great.. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...Y/IMG_9706.jpg OH, going to granny's house is so exausting..LOL http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...Y/IMG_9712.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...Y/IMG_9708.jpg |
I got Ziva's snoozer at a yardsale but it was missing the seatbelt attachment- had to send for that... Has washed well over the years,I think it's a good investment even if I had paid full price.Mine had the one with the drawer and I rarely use it. (the snoozer web site has free shipping and 10% off) |
We love Levi's Snoozer! I ordered ours from the Petco website on Black Friday a couple of years ago and got a pretty good deal on it. |
My Yorkies love them. |
Love the snoozers. I don't think you will be disappointed. |
I got Callie's single snoozer at Gwlittle.com but I got the big one for both Callie and Sammy as well as Sammy's single snoozer at Dog Car Seat - Pet Car Seat - Lookout Pet Car Seat - Snoozer Pet Products I personally liked the second place better it had great customer service. Callie is crazy about her snoozer when I was letting her jump on her own, if the car door was open she would jump in the back seat then run over to her car seat and jump in and sit waiting to be buckled in. |

I will be selling Snoozer car seats and I am placing an order on Monday, if you are interested. I can give you a price then. :) |
LOVE Snoozer! We have a Medium size for 16lb Jackson and it's perfect. I got it on ebay for around $80. He loves it and automatically jumps into it when we get into the car. |
The Snoozer is made much better than some of the other car seats. The thing that connects to your dog's harness is much more secure than some that are just sewn onto the fabric. If you want a car seat Snoozer is the way to go. It's a pretty good pet product company. |
Mikki loves her snoozer car seat. We had a different one but she just never was comfortable in it. I ordered mine from Amazon. |

Sophie Kate seems to like her Snoozer, it does live up to its name and she is usually taking a nap when in it. |
We love our Snoozer! We got it from the Snoozer Pet Products website. Katie Scarlett is always so comfy in her Snoozer. We took the 12 hour drive to Alabama from PA for Christmas (broke up the drive into 2 days) and she did great! We couldn't live without our Snoozer! :) |
2 Attachment(s) I have both the Pet Gear and the Snoozer carseats (I bought the Snoozer so my parents could stop by & pick her up on days I end up working really late). I thought you had the Pet Gear too, so you know the seat form is made from polystyrene and the sides are firm. ZoE likes this when riding around town, because she stands in her seat and puts her front paws on the side and looks out the window. I know some don't feel the sewn-in strap is as secure (and I did shorten mine because it was too long), but we don't use it, as we also have a strap that buckles into the actual seat belt, so she is super secure AND she can see out the windows well. The Snoozer seat form is made from foam....like your couch/sofa cushions...so it is definately softer (including the sides). I had the medium PetGear & so bought the medium Snoozer thinking they'd be the same, but the Snoozer is actually ALOT bigger and ZoE can stretch out and lay down in it just like its a bed. I might try using the Snoozer on my next trip across state to visit my kids at college and see how ZoE likes it on long trips on the boring freeway where she loses interest looking out the windows and just sleeps. I find the Pet Gear harder to buckle in, but believe how it buckles in makes it very secure, even though I don't enjoy the hassle of moving it from vehicle to vehicle, so I'll stay put in my Stang. The Snoozer is very easy to buckle in and it would be no problem moving it between vehicles. |

ETA: Your kiddies are adorable in their seats! |
Yup I have the Petgear and Gizmo isn't too fond of looking out. So, despite already spending 40+ dollars on it. I decide now that I want a snoozer :p |

Just got ours last week. It's been in our den since then so our pup can jump in that to reach the sofa and to get used to it. We don't travel too much yet since he hasn't had all his shots but he likes it. He snuggles down in it with toys and stuff. He seems to like the higher sides in the car too. |
I originally bought my Snoozer for my cat. He loves it. Then we got Zeus...and he loves it. Of course, Zeus goes for my car rides that Ody does, but when they're together, it gets a bit squishy, lol. Neither have a problem seeing outside the windows, but I have loosened the tethers a bit so they can stand and look out. :) |
We LOVE our snoozer!!!!! I got the My Buddy Lookout from Petco.com when they were having a site wide sale. Then I found a coupon code to use on top of it. The seat was normally $169.99, on sale for $129.95, and after coupon code (10%off +free shipping) it was $116.95 shipped :) |
I got Jazi's snoozer on eBay for $65, free s&h. Pm me if you want the seller. He has a store and it arrived in 2 days. Jazi loves it. I never thought to bring it in as a tv with mom doggie sofa! Lol. |

I LOVE the Snoozer! Taycie loves it too:) I got lucky and found mine used on a local website. I am not sure it was even used. Only Cost me $30! I washed it up and its good as new! |
I've never heard of these. How do they secure your dog in so he/she won't fly out in case of accident? Right now I have the Sherpa carrier used for carrying pets onboard plane permanently seat belted on my back seat (using 2 different belts). It's mesh so Charlie can see out but he sure whines a lot. :( |
There is a seatbelt that attaches to the dog harness, that seatbelt is attached to the cars seatbelt (securely). Also should add that the car seatbelt goes through slots on the back of the Snoozer to keep the seat secure also. |
1 Attachment(s) We have the Snoozer too. I can't remember where I bought it from but 80.00 sticks in my head as the cost |
We have the PetGear in large and it has two tethers for Khloe and Couver. We are pretty happy with it... It has a removable cover that you can wash (it says not to, but we have :) ). The only thing is it's kind of a pain to take in and out of the car. It is not the easiest to strap in, so I try not to move it if I can avoid it. The Snoozer looks pretty soft and comfy. Because the PetGear seat isn't super soft, I always have a blanket (or two) on it so they can nest and make a nice bed for themselves. |

The PetGear IS a pain to strap in and move between vehicles, so I just keep it strapped in my car. After the test run, we much prefer the PetGear to the Snoozer. Here's a pic of ZoE in her Snoozer during our evening outing. |
