If you are that sick give the dog to a guardian to take care of and bring yourself to the ER before you both drop dead.

What is wrong with you, gracie? I know how I feel and I still give Bridgett the treatment she needs. I have to! I don't care if you believe me or not. It's obvious you wouldn't know how to treat a sick animal by your comments. Well, I do, because I have to! Any by the way, this is my straight story, as it has been from the beginning. And I care more than you know! I've been taking extra blood pressure medication the last few days, right now, per my doctor. If this is hard for you to comprehend, then I feel sorry for you.

I agree. How rude and inconsiderate. She is just desperate to help her dog and doesn't need any lectures right now!!

Here we go again. :( Same stuff. Bottom line no matter what anyone thinks or says, this pup is SICK and needs to be treated asap. The pup cannot speak for her/himself ... the OP can get up and call her doctor and/or go to the doctor or ER. Sadly this poor defenseless and SICK pup cannot. The OP chose to come to YT for assistance and people are TRYING to make her understand the gravity of this situation.

Personally, if I were unable to get my backside out of bed to take one of my pups for help, I would have someone else do it. Sickness is no excuse for denying a helpless pup proper veterinary care.

This has nothing to do with feeling compassion for a human being who can care for herself and everything to do with having compassion for a pup who cannot.

Let me clarify my last sentence a bit. I am not saying there is no compassion for the OP....I am simply saying that the pup needs to be taken care of...the pup has NO choice. The OP does. I am sorry she is not feeling well...I simply don't think that should have any bearing on the pup's interests.

We are really past this point now & the pup needs to get treatment ASAP as well as the owner. The owner needs to find a way to get herself to the DR & the pup to it's appt & now, not next week.

The op was on here this morning so obviously she didnt take Bridgett to her appointment. She is too sick to take Bridgett to her apointment but she is okay enough to be on here posting. Thats all I need to know. This dog needs to be given to rescue so someone will make it a priority to get her the care she needs.

Exactly- Do you think if one of our dogs were deathly ill we would be on YT as much as she is...??? I doubt it!

I honestly don't think the OP realizes the seriousness of her pups condition or she would not be posting & have gotten her pup to the appt. To the OP, you cannot live without a properly functioning liver & if she needs surgery to repair a shunt, it could very possibly blow out before you get her to her appt. If this happens your pup will die.

Or if you were as ill as she claims so ill you cant make an appointment to get your dog life saving care but your okay enough to be on here. Doesnt make sense to me. Im beginning to wonder if this is for real or just to try to get us to give her money and sympathy. I hate to be so cynical but when things dont add up you have to question
