I use these every day! I love them. I bought mine at the dollar store in the hair section. They are cheap and I only get a one time use out of them because they do strech out a lot but it came in a pack of like 100 so its ok. I bought some at walmart too and they are just as cheap and work just as well. I love them beacuse they come in so many colors and they are soft and dont pull her hair. I actually have bought most all of her hair accessories in the people section of stores. She does not bother her bows or barretts or whatever I have in that day. They are way cheaper than dog bows and more to choose from. I am very budget friendly so I dont like to spend money on things just cause they have picture of a dog on them when something of the same thing made for a human works just as well. Although, she does get spoiled with clothes and bags. :D

I bought 2 bags of them at a dollar store (Dollar General) but took them back 'cuz they were just knit fabric and stretched out way bigger than what I already had and wouldn't get tight enough to hold Brody's thin very silky hair. They just slipped off while I watched without him doing anything...but had no 'snap back' like a band would have to hold the hair.

I have some from when my granddaughter was an infant that I still use over a band as decoration, but I would like to eliminate the band if possible to keep from having any breakage.

Do the ones from Walmart stretch "tight" like human hair bigger scrunchies? Or do they just stretch "out"? There was a previous thread on YT that had a link to where to get a particular very common human hair brand from Target...I think these were for infants, but the product does not display from that link anymore and I have been looking...but not finding. :)

Oh, what a cutie! We need some of those too! KS's top knot is growing fast. We use those no pull bands right now.

I believe I have ordered the tiny ones before:rolleyes: and the MINI's are even smaller. Oh, you can still use them for sure, you just have to wrap more times.

I measured a MINI for you, it's 1/2 ' and a tiny looks to be the size of a penney, which is 5/8'. Just an 1/8 difference, but for Zhoie's topknot it's made difference.

I buy them in packs of 100 for $1 at my Family Dollar. They do stretch some, but work well for us and Minnie Mia has super fine hair. I'm trying to grow my girls' bangs out too, but they are not long enough yet to put in the scrunchies. So I have been using a tiny snap clip to hold them back along with the scrunchies. I only do this when I home and can watch them because I'm afraid they will chew the clips and get choked.

Rosie is beautiful! Love this picture, and her pony! We used those scrunchies a lot when everyone was in between! Loved em :)

Thanks so much. I appreciate the reply. We have one of those down the street. I'll have to stop in tomorrow and check it out...haven't been there in a while. I like the idea of elastics and scrunchies vs. bands but they need to stay in til I remove them. I have all kinds of mini clips, too, but like you, I only use them when I am with them. :lol tearsBelieve me, you are not alone....most of us have the sickness! Zhoie gets more than I do...usally better quality too:D
When I'm out shopping...I think, hmmm, what am I going to buy for Zhoie :p

OMG! It's not just me! I was so embarrassed to admit my...errr...weakness. ;) When I get my hair done, I let the hairdresser choose how to do it as long as it only takes me 5 minutes and fits in a motorcycle helmet! They get several hours a week of primp time. Bless you for making me feel human even if I will always be an un-girlie-skilled tomboy! :D

Trixie has been using the scrunchies since Levi sent them to her in the last ge. I believe he got them from BowBiz and we just love them!! Her bangs are shorter than Rosies so they don't look quite as good just yet. We are also growing out the hair around Trixie's eyes/nose too UGH....what a mess she is right now. I use lanolin and/or topknot gel to hold those little hairs down....cannot wait till this phase in over = never trimming again!!!

Girl I am right there with you! And it seems like it is taking forever!! I will be glad when everything grows out and lays down like it is suppose to!! :D
