Md. Man Charged With Throwing Yorkie From Balcony CBS Baltimore OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — A Baltimore County man is facing animal cruelty charges after police say he tossed a Yorkshire terrier from a balcony. County police say officers were called to Mill Centre Drive on Sunday evening after a woman saw a man walk out on a balcony of townhouse and throw something. She investigated and discovered an injured Yorkshire terrier. Police spokeswoman Cathy Batton says a woman came out of the house and collected the dog, which was taken to Falls Road Animal Hospital. Batton says the dog named Lonie had serious, life-threatening head and spinal injuries after being thrown about 50 feet from the 23-foot-high balcony. Batton says 43-year-old Gary Wallace Jr., who lives at the home, is charged with animal mutilation and animal cruelty. He’s being held on $250,000 bond. (Copyright 2012 by The Associated Press. AHOLE. All I can say. This world is getting worse and worse in it's cruelty to animals and children as well. Just seems to be escalating rather then getting better. :( |

I saw this on facebook and it makes me sick. How anyone could be so cruel is beyond me. I remember that happening to another little yorkie a year or two ago. That poor baby...I can't imagine. I hope that butt hole gets prison time! As someone said on facebook...they hope the judge seeing this case is a yorkie owner. |
I agree with everyone who's responded to this thread. When someone is mad at his/her significant other they are taking it out on either the pets or the children. I'd like to get in line so we can all throw this ______ off the tallest building (or bridge)! |

:cry: That poor baby! Until the laws and punishment are made stricter, it's never going to decrease or stop:( It just kills me that someone can go to prison for 20 years for having a little marijuana on them, but they can abuse a dog to death and get no jail time, and a slap on the wrist:mad: |
I find it hard to believe that anyone could hurt an animal or a child. Honestly how could you get up and face yourself every morning knowing you did something like this. I just don't understand sick ----ards. |
I feel so sorry for that poor baby. They should take that guy an hang him from the balcony. I hope the punish him to the max and not just a slap on the hand. |

I am sure if they looked into this further , they might find that the woman is herself a victim of domestic violence. Animals are often abused to torment the person who loves the animal. So wrong and so sad. There is no punishment strong enough for people like this. |
