It is the El paso Humane Society. They have so many people working in that place and they had me there for hours. |
Do you know why they showed youba female first? Seems way too disorganized!!! I admire you for looking until you found him!! He must have been freaking out when he saw you!!! |
Oh and I'll post my story in the right place for everyone to know and even if they did let those people go they should check who they have working for them. |

There was this one man there that told me not to give ip and walked me around the whole place. |
Most shelters give an owner 3 days to retrieve their pets then they either up them up for adoption or put them down. I would not hole my breath waiting for this AC to call you on the other little dog. I don't think they are organized enough to remember who you are. They showed you the wrong dog for crying out loud! If you want that dog, and I'm sure your dog does, tell your mom to go down there in three days to get it. It did look like your fella had been clipped fairly recently. It seems like he would have had to have seen a vet to survive that attack. It would be interesting if a local vet knew of such a case that happened last February. If those people were selling, dogs well that is one thing, but your dog needed an investment of money even to survive. Dog thieves don't do that. My guess would be someone at AC took him to the vet. Maybe they lost the report of where he came from or the report was never done. They may have just adopted him out when he got better. I have a feeling this story is not over yet. At least it for your little fella. |
How wonderful to see Armani back where he belongs. |
I really do hope you call the paper. This is just such a horrible thing to do to people. I wish I lived close, I would go to court with you. I can't even find the words to describe people that would do such a thing. And the responsibility always goes to the top, those who were in charge need a swift kick at the very least. Maybe some media attention would clean the place up. I have been watching this thread all day - it goes beyond amazing. So many sad stories, it is so uplifting that this turned out so very well. I bet you both sleep better tonight than you have in a year! |

Oh I clipped his coat because it was very long and matted. So many things come to my mind I dont know what to think or do but if they don't call me about the Chihuahua I'll call them |

I realy hope something can be done. |
Did you know it was him right away when you saw his lil face? Cannot even imagine what you felt!! |
What a blessing... no greater sign than this that Armani is meant to be part of your family ;) I pray that everything goes well at the vet tomorrow. I can only imagine how elated you are to have Armani home, and things are so very fresh... When things settle, know that your experience is definately news worthy, and I'm sure your local news stations would jump at the chance to tell your story. Look how many people the ripple of what has happened to you and Armani have touched just here on this forum; and imagine how much awareness it would bring being televised and/or in the newspaper. Continued prayers... pls let us know how it goes at the vet tomorrow. |
