The Sisterhood of the Traveling Yorkie Book Ok, I am reposting this as a few things have progressed, and maybe not everyone understood last one. The idea is to start a huge Yorkie scrapbook of all the members. Each person will have two pages of their own to do as they wish pretaining to their yorkies. This can be poems, pictures, stickers, quotes, letters, tributes, or whatever you wish! After you have done your two pages, you will then send it to the next member and they will do the same thing! It will be so much fun! You dont have to be artistic at all! Do what you wish! So far we have 6 for sure that want to do this, and more to come. So come on and be part of the sisterhood lol! Have ideas or questions, you can message me or y0rkie0ver. If interested then post message or message one of us and we will add you to the list! We should be starting real soon, as we have enough to start, but you can always be added on! Thanks! |

wow this is great! im so glad so many people are interested. but we can def recirculate the book once its done and more people want to add and what not. if all goes well we can start other circle journals where each person starts their own and send it to everyone within the group and once its done, you get your own book back filled ...let me know if that doesnt make sense im typin faster than my brain works. <3 :jump28ib: :jump28ib: |

OK. Update: We will go ahead and start our own scrapbooks. This way the one scrapbook wont become so overfilled, deciding who gets it, adding people and etc. So what I am thinking is we all start off with our pages of our yorkies. And then send your book to the next member on the list and so on. So in the end when you get it back, you have your own YorkieTalk scrapbook that includes all the members as well! So it will be up to you to start it, ask the member for their address and if they would like to contribute to your yorkie book, have them send it or you send it to the next member as well. Keep it going till There is noone left to contribute to your book and get it back! Sound good? Let me know what you all think by Pm me so I dont have to keep up on here. Thanks! Hmmm... I like the idea of having one book better, but that's just me. I guess I will have to back out. I cannot see paying to have 16 different books shipped :eek: $$$ to ship + supplies to make pages would be well over $100.00 verses my child's desire to eat... :rolleyes: |
I love the original idea...what if you did ONE scrapbook and each member who wants to participate do one page....that keeps it simple and inexpensive to ship and less confusion about which book is going where. Those nice scrapbooks can hold LOTS of pages!!! If you get one at Michaels you can use a coupon and get it half off for about 15 bucks. Just an idea :) This way, the one book would hold probably every member who wants to participate and keeps it a "together" thing....sometimes us girls like to pair up :D and no one feels slighted or gets their feelings hurt...we are sensitive too :p |
lol bama makes a good point about the cost and what not... but im still into everyone getting their own book so we can all have one @ the end. but thats just my opinion... also, maybe limit it to one page per dog since i know alot of YTers have more than one yorkie? more suggestionsm people. lets get everyones ideas flowing and see what will work for all of us. :] :heart to :happyboun :heart to :happyboun |

OK Ok.......Noone back out. we will stay with origional idea. But everyone has ideas so I put that out there for someone. I will begin it if everyone is ok with that. I have a list and will add on as needed. How does everyone think we should do the address thing? It dont bother me to give out address to you all but I am sure others want to keep it minimal. So how about...I start it, pm next person on my list and get address, they do their part and pm next member for address and so on. But we will have to pay attention and keep up our lists, cause i am sure someone will be like " wheres the book at? whens my turn?", type of thing. Soooo.........whats everyone think? If I get my "allowance" early, I will go check out the biggest, bestest, book to do this and get started. |

Ok, that sounds good! count me in! I just think it will be a lot easier to keep up with one book, don't you :) I don't mind giving out my address to anyone....I have four yorkies for protection :D |
