So very sad. :( Thank you so much for getting involved in this baby's life. She needs someone special to take care of her. If you are able to adopt her, you will be giving her the best years of her life. She will finally know love. |
OMG WTF is wrong with those people:cry:?!?!?!? How can anyone look at that little face and so cruelly neglect her?:( They'll probably just get a slap on the wrist too:mad: Laci, thank you for reaching out to this precious little one. I hope that they will allow you to foster or adopt her, so that her final years will be filled with love and care:love: |

I think the people that had this dog should spend time behind bars..without food and water for awhile. Disgusting! |
Mean, nasty people. One word, Karma |
It is heartbreaking. Poor helpless creature. |
This is just unbelievable...why? I just don't understand it. |
How about putting them in a shed,in the dark and cold and letting them be there for several weeks. I dont get it! Im reasonable sure that there is a special place for them in eternity. If this dog has lived to be 12yrs old, there was some one at some point that loved her. Wonder if they inheriated from an older relative that passed. So very sad. |
I have often said the the sentence this type of person should get is to be treated exactly as they treated the animal they abused. The article didn't state if the people had been charged for this abuse. I know the laws are different in each state. It always concerns me when the police say there is nothing they can do and then the people are free to go out and abuse another animal. I hope this little girl gets to leave her life out in peace, love and security. |
Heartbreaking:mad:!!! Hope you can bring her home. You are an angel for getting involved!! |
That is heart breaking...I am so glad you could help her! |
OMG I read your warning, and still made the mistake of looking. There are no words to describe what her owners should have to go through, for letting this sweet girl go through what has to be years of severe neglect. Bless your heart for trying to save her. |
All I can say is that there is a special place in hell for people like this. Their day will come!! Please keep us updated. Poor little thing. To suffer like that. Unreal  |
OMG How sad. How can anyone do a dog that way. They should be treated the same way and suffer. My heart id breaking for this sweet girl. I think it is so wonderful that you are helping. |

I Just got back. They have her in a incubator where she is warm. She now has her own blanket teddy bear which she cuddled right into and a toy which is on top I knew in her condition she wont be able to play. But it's hers. She has a long road ahead of her. She had pus coming from both ears and eyes. blood from her mouth. She has lost a lot of body hair but that is due to mal nourishment. She is on a lot of medication. You can help but look at her eyes and cry the pain you see in them is terrible. Her spirit and soul has been crushed. I sat on a chair sideways to her for a few so she wouldn't view me as a threat and I sang to her. Finaly I placed my hand in the incubator and placed it on her paw told her she was a strong little girl and she would not have to live like that any more that she is safe. I have in the past taken dogs for foster. One was a puppy that came via a police car at three in the morning. Make a long story short it was a high speed chase the people jumped the dog followed and was hit. Police found a 2 week old pup in car. I have put my name in for the yorkie but as you know that means nothing they may find someone without another dog more suitable for her senior years after all she is 12 years old. It is good for her to have contact with others than just her vet and the shift caregivers. She will discover not everyone is cruel. |
Bless her heart. She will be in my prayers. I'm glad she was finally rescued. Does she have a name...or a new name? Quote:

That poor, precious little thing. And I'm willing to stake my life on the fact that all she ever offered in her life (and continues to offer) is pupkisses and abundant love. Looking past the baldness, the skin covered bones, and dirt, and into only her little eyes, you can SEE she's wanting so much to be loved, and to love. I strongly feel that her soul hasn't been crushed, just temporarily defeated until someone can love her and open it back up. This is so very heartbreaking to see. I hope with all hopes and pray that she will be placed in a home that will love her with an unsurpassable love. What a sweetheart. It was so kind of you to go and visit her like you did. She now knows that not everyone in this world is evil. That being said, I often say that people who do this to animals should receive the same exact torture, "a dose of their own medicine", but when I sit in thought, it really makes me realize that not one ounce of punishment these people could receive on earth will even come close in comparison to what our Maker will have to say to them in the end. Please keep us updated on her if possible. I see they said it's a non profit facility that relies on donations, but I don't see any button to click on to donate? Can you help me with that? |
