| ![]() Hi All. My 6 year old yorkie is still adjusting to having a 5 month old lab puppy in the house. It has been a month now and although they get along MUCH better (and even play tug of war) I believe my yorkie is "acting out" recently. He has been having poop accidents in the house for the past three days--even after I JUST let him out and watched him pee and poop before letting him back in. I know some people don't believe dogs "get back" at their owners, but I do think he is trying to tell me and the new puppy SOMETHING and this is his way of showing it. Any tips on how to stop him from doing this? I'm stumped! ![]() ![]() Thank you! :-)

| ![]() Wow that's a tough one. We had our son's Boxer over to meet Bailey a few days ago. Bailey started marking his territory all over the house to show whose home it was. I believe it's a terrier thing and I'm not sure, but that with time, your yorkie will be fine. |

Remember also, they don't think of poop like we do, it's vastly interesting to them, and not disgusting. Just ignore his accidents, anxiety can make this happen, so your job is to reassure him everything’s okay, The most I would say is “ooh oh, poop outside.” Ooh oh our house means “no reward” is coming. Also, I believe walking together as a pack, can help your dogs bond with each other and you.

| ![]() Check out a post from yesterday, on page two, title : Puppy sending a message ? Quite a few of us answered her questions about her Yorkie pooping in the house. Hope this helps. ![]()
