Does you yorkie snore?!!? Just wondering who here has to put up with not only their other half snoring at night but your yorkie too?? ive had to invest in ear plugs for some nights as with both my fiance' and Millie snoring so loudly they make the rafters shake, i dont get a wink of sleep!! ive even had to jab both of them to get them to move but Millie just gives me the "im not impressed" yorkie look (you all know the one i mean!) and turns on her back again and snore's louder than before lol just wanna know if im the only one who has to put up with this or if there are more of us out there to share my pain!! :aimeeyork |
I've got no idea if Harry snores.......my husband snores so loud I can't hear him!!! :D :p Sally + Harry x |
Nope, Kiko is very quiet when she sleeps. I hope the ear plugs help you get some sleep. |
My husband swears that Dizzee snores loudly but I wouldn't know because I've been wearing earplugs for his snoring for 10+ years  |
lol no unfortunately on the rare occassions that the ear plugs do work, Millie then decides that shes cold and decideds to climb out of her bed (at the foot of mine) she then decides that she wants to sleep ON me lol so either way i cant sleep lol i wouldnt change her for the world though and love her yorkie cuddles!! |
Our little Kinder grunts when she sleeps and the husband snores so loud I had to order a case of ear plugs that are on a string. My Kinder would love to eat them so the ones on a string are safer. Susan |
lol im so glad im not the only one having to put up with all this!! Millie loves to sleep on her back, legs stuck up in the air, head back and lets it all hang out lol i love it when she dreams and her legs start going to-and-fro lol dreaming of chasing my sisters chickens!! |
If Lilo gets a good run that particular day she sometimes softly snores while sleeping on my lap but you have to real quiet and listen. haha its the funniest little sound |
Now, if Kiko gets cold during the night, she will wake me up, so that I can pick her up and put her in bed with me. Most of the time that is not a problem; she'll just curl up next to me and we both go back to sleep. But every once in awhile she doesn't like the way the sheets/blakets are and will "fluff" them over and over until I threaten to put her back on her bed. |
LOL you all have described my house to a T of the way it WAS lol..DH snored so loud the dead would have been restless, plus Peanut snoring is so bad when she is on her back..i now SLEEP on the other end of the house and dh sleeps with a pap machine but it has really helped him a lot he feels more rested now |

YES!!! My little darling Luna snores like a little buzz saw:laugh: It's sort of a squeaky snore. It's adorable, except for at 2 am:p Hubby snores too, so they have a real orchestra going:rolleyes: |
My dogs snore is more of a squeek then a full on snore...unless he is sleeping on his back then its a loud annoying snore! |
Not only does she snore but she kicks me while she's sleeping. |
haha so glad im not alone! but yes she lets it all hang out lol not worrying about who see's lol x |
If your yorkie is snoring to the point it bothers you, I would bring it up to the vet and have a check -- first trachea integrity -- a collapsed trachea, even partial can cause snoring.....and second -- thyroid levels. Really -- hypothyroidism can lead to snoring -- in dogs and people! May be no problem at all and you just have to deal with the snoring but sometimes snoring is telling us other things. It is definitely worth checking into! |
Nope he doesn't really snore. When he's dreaming or in a very deep sleep he makes noises that remind me of little guinea pig chirps. He hick ups with each chirp too. Kind of cute and funny all rolled into one. |

My Quincy snores but from what my husbands says I am so much worse than he is. I cant say that I disagree, I have woke myself up from snoring so loud. |
Callie snores but its not all the time and its not really loud thank goodness. |
Marcel snores, and it's sooo dang cute...that said, I wish he didn't snore bc the snoring is indicative of other health stuff. Luckily, it's not too loud - it's more like cute-loud. :p |
haha yeah she kicks me too which isnt good, usually she snores quietly but its more of a "Hmmmm" noise then when shes on her back its the loud rafter shaker snore lol usually shes silent then lets out a few mega loud snores now and again but most of the time its a mix. but when she gets going the ear plugs come out lol. shes always been like this since she was a puppy and vet says its just her way of saying shes comfy lol x |
Nilla rarely sleeps with us around, and she jumps up at the slightest sound. Sometimes I wonder if she ever sleeps! |

haha lil ninja dog! never sleeps..always alert lol Millie goes into a really deep sleep but if anyone makes a noise she jumps up and barks but is usually still asleep with bed head hair lol its the funniest thing ever! :aimeeyork:D |
Yorkie doesnt snore, but the chi,and 2 poodles do,but they dont sleep with me. Mina is so quiet when she sleeps,Ive woken up and checked for breathing (new mom syndron). |
I've heard Katie Scarlett snoring very faintly one time, but that was it. I wonder if she will snore more as she ages. It's so funny when she did though! |
Mine does not snore but she always makes this little sucking sound in her sleep. Its like she is nursing or something. Its the cutest sound! My hubby snores and it does not bother me as much as it does her, if she gets sick of it she gets up, stands on his chest, licks his nose and wakes him up, he rolls over and she goes back to sleep. Silly puppies! |
