| Mushers Secret Good afternoon everyone! Just a quick question for you all please?! Here in the UK, we don't really have 'extreme' weather. But last Winter we did!!! The snow fell very thick before Christmas, and at that point we didn't have our 'little' Harry. So I'm trying to get him a bit organised for if/when that sets in. I was looking at the Puppia stuff on Amazon - and came across the Mushers Secret Balm for their little paws. So please could I ask - do any of you use it, does it work - should I get some? Thank you! | We don't get snow here in Florida, but if we did I'd definitely buy some. More than anything, it's the salt that they put down to melt ice/snow, on the sidewalks, that will irritate and cause the paw pads to become dry and/or cracked. Of course there's always boots, if you can get your baby to wear them I've read here also that some will wash their baby's feet after winter walks, to remove any salt.

| I've read of some yorkie parents using it and think it's great. I haven't. I just have to avoid all places they have spread salt here.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I've never heard of that, but I think I may need it. We get lots of snow here in PA and if I didn't get this, I'd definitely get some shoes/booties for Katie Scarlett.

One of his birthday presents was a 'glow in the dark' jacket for when we walk him late, and he's got this really strange (quite clever!!) habit of disappearing upstairs when we put it on him - and coming down without it on!!! So I can't really see him keeping wellies on?!!? Oh dear Sally + Harry x | |
