I wasn't even going to post about these tags, but I did... and I'm glad because now I have so many OTHER places to order for 1/4 the price haha.
You can search that on ebay as well. It's a pet id tag with a QR code on it that you scan with your smartphone.

I paid a lot more for my girl's tags at Petco but have never seen them anywhere else. I figure what's $20 for the length of time they wear them? I spend more than that on stupid things and my girls are worth it :)

That's messed up that THEY did the tags and made the errors, and didn't even give you options on how many lines, etc. I hope that you're able to get a refund, they should have given it to you immediately:mad: Good luck, hope they send you your money back:)

That's nice and all, but as I stated for me personally, and I'm sure others here and there can relate... money gets tight this time of year. Although I do not work, My husband makes more than enough money for us, but come Christmas time the fact that we do shop for 4 parents, 5 siblings, my closest cousin, 3 grandparents and eachother does get costly and make the budget a li'l tight when we also have $850 rent, power bill, cell bill, etc. So for me to spend $10 on a tag that is crap was a big deal because I don't have another $10 to pay for a replacement. However on Ebay for $2.50 I can do that haha. My girl is worth every penny I can afford to spend on her frivolously as well :D

And I agree Luna, it was their fault. But I do plan on sending it in via mail... even if I don't get a penny back at least they'll know they're producing crappy tags.

It's the fact that they messed up, not really the price, however the price is a rip off. I know all our babies are worth it, but to pay an inflated price on something when the exact same thing is available for much less? That's not worth it.

I'm with you here, I wouldn't care if it was the $2.50 tag or a $20 tag, if they messed it up, they should fix it for free. It's the principle.

I'm poor now, but even when I wasn't as poor LOL I see no point in pissing $10 down the drain, it only take $.70 a day to sponsor a child, that's 11 days there...and it is the principal.
$10 an hour is a common wage in my area, that tag was someone's hour worked.

I don't know about YTers but there are a lot of cute ones on Etsy. More than the ebay ones, I paid about $20 for Uni's new one, but they sure are unique. This is the one I got: Custom personalized pet ID tag Nostalgic by makeyourdogsmile

Very true. I tend to think of prices in how many meals I can get out of it. When we were doing very bad, I would have said that was 10 $1 burgers that could have been 5 meals for bf and me.

Now I feel bad for buying that tag for $20....

Furcodes are awesome. The not only have a QR scan thingy, but a website on the other side that you can put into any computer and automatically see the animals website. It holds info like allergies, medicine, medical problems, vets, facebook, email, etc.
I got mine on ebay for $1.36! If you buy them direct from the site they are $19.99

So check out ebay first.

Hahaha, a good way to look at it is that $20 tag will last a long time so why not.
After the holidays are over I def. wouldn't mind buying a unique tag you can't find anywhere else for $20... but for the dinky pink metal one I got today... rip off.

Yeah I know what you mean I just bought a $8 can of dilly beans a a $6.50 pint of egg nog yeah I try to limit my dollars to only spending them on things I need and will use of something i really want.

Going for this whole less waste and the first way to reduce that is to consume less and save for quality not spend on quantity.

I just don't beleive in wasting anything-especially money.

I swap tags out according to the seasons and really like the choices on that website. They do an outstanding job and ship fast!
