Ew ew ew!! So I went to petsmart this morning with Kaos to pick up his RC, and he had finished his Bullystick last night so we picked up another there. We usually get them at Petland, but they weren't open yet and I had a DR appointment I had to get to after. So he is sitting on my bed and I literately almost got sick! :fainted: It is the nastiest smell everr!!!! :sickie: I keep throwing it off the bed and he looks up at me with those BIG brown eyes :Puppy2: with it in his mouth, wanting to know what's wrong. I don't have the heart to throw it away, because I am just too tired to walk all the way back to the store to get him the one from Petland. Never buying one at Petsmart ever again. :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown |
Sounds like it's not an odor-free bully stick. :) I just bought a pack from Best Bully Sticks and I forgot to get odor-free, so I know the smell you're talking about. But it sounds like Kaos is loving it! |

I got some that smelled that bad once. They disappeared, too.:D |
Luckily I have never got any that smelled real bad |
I didn't know odor free bully sticks exist! I buy mine at a natural pet food store but they smell disgusting. I put up with it ONLY bc I love her so much, but ugh it makes me gag! I'm excited to search for odor free ones! |

It seems like the most expensive Bully Sticks are also the stinkiest. They must charge extra for the smell . |
I call them gag me sticks. But he loves them and I don't have the heart to say no. But why why does he insist on sitting beside me to eat them while I'm laying over the side of the couch wretching lmao. I had no idea there were odor free ones. Guess what I am going to be looking for. |

It has been so long sense I bought Callie one that was not odor free but I have not forgotten the nasty smell and it didn't just go away when the stick did her beard would smell like it for days or until a bath. |
Ohhh Yeah...!! I know the smell!! I bought one of them for Riley, one time...and one time, only. Do only the odor free ones, from now on. |
I bought them once and then I found out what they were!!:eek::eek: Never again!!!!!!!!!!! |
Yes some of them smell really bad. But the odor free ones aren't 100% odor free, but sure seem like it in comparison. However, I would not buy anything from a store that sold dogs, and last I heard Petland is still selling puppies, is that correct? |
