I do hate a stinky bully stick! I always sniff before I buy. I'm sure I look like a madwoman sniffing bully sticks in public. :p |

Brutus is almost out of his first pack of bully sticks which I also ordered from bestbullysticks.com, and I did get odor free. HOWEVER I just received my second shipment and I dont think I ordered the odor free. The sticks are in different packaging. Can you smell them before they are chewed on? If so, I can give this pack to my sister's yorkie (he he he) for Christmas and re-order for us. |
I must've bought the odor free too. I haven't noticed a overwhelming smell from Katie Scarlett's bully stick. She loves hers! |
Now I have a question...Do bullsticks ever go "bad"?? For the last two days Kaos has only ate about half of his food (something he NEVER does and has a bit of diarrhea. :( I'm thinking its just a tummy bug from that bullstick. Has anyone else ever had a "bad" bullystick? Oh he only had it for about 1-2 hours that day and not since, but there has been no other change in his routine or diet. |
Bully sticks smell hurrendous :eek:But both Suzi and Miely love them , I bought two of them a week and a half ago and those did not smell too bad. I do not buy them all the time because Suzi gets very territorial with them, she did get in a little brawl with Miely about it . they have never hardly ever got into fights either , so this was shocking. All I had to do was raise my voice at them and they quit fighting ove rthe bully stick. I hate the smelly ones because will chew them on bed blankets , that smell is hard to get rid of. |

I went to the website and was very surprised to learn what a bully stick is! I would consider trying the odor free ones. Maggie is about 8.5 pounds. What size would be good for her? Is this something she would chew for a while and then move on and then chew it some more tomorrow? Or is it something she would actually eat like a treat? I would try one from Petsmart or Petco, but not if it will be stinky since she chews on the sofa, on the floor, on the bed, wherever she wants because she is the princess. |

Bullystick? They probably had them sitting next to or on top of or very close to some other type of toy or food item etc that smelled and it rubbed off on them even through the packaging, that happens sometimes. I sell those bullysticks but never let my babies try any before. I hear a lot of good comments about them though. They must be good because people buy them like crazy and the mark up is huge! |
Scooter will fight for his bully stick but the rest of them dont seen to have that problem. I get mine from Giant Eagle, a grocery store. and they smell a little but not to bad. The ones I had gotten from pet smart were real bad. |
