didnt you do a thread about breeding before in the past. I hope you dont get any more yorkies as they are not disposable. |
Please do not breed your boy, or adopt another pup at this time. From the other threads you had started and people are reposting them here, It sounds like you are very fickle with your decisions and I would hate to have you get another dog and then a month later post on here that you want to get rid of the baby! Neuter your male that you already have, and dont get rid of either of them, unless you cannot provide a good home for them. I believe Ellie May had posted on one of your threads that she could take one of them in and find them a good home. |
breeding is not for you. love your boys and enjoy them. prob fix the one that's not fixed. and leave breeding to the professionals who have put their lives into doing it for the bettering of the yorkshire standard in but health and beauty. |
DO NOT BREED!!! I once decided to breed my baby for pick of the litter...I too wanted another baby...a girl to be exact.....I had decided if only boys were born, then I would sell my pick and purchase a female....Well, only one pup was born, a little male who was a blue born...there are many threads on him....we still have him and LOVE him dearly...but I learned my lesson in breeding where I had no business in doing so....I have since neutered my male as well as the baby.... If you really want another pup, do your research...find a GOOD breeder, adopt from a rescue...but, DO NOT WHORE YOUR LITTLE GUY OUT!!!! Its NEVER worth it!!!! you re not doing any favor to the breed..... Please....read everything you can.....and you will understand why this isnt right.... |
Big NO if earlier you were questioning if you needed to rehome your dogs. |
Uh, no. You should definitely not breed. |
I don't think you need another dog. Period. If you can't afford another dog then you certainly can't afford to breed, the tests to make sure your dog is "sound" can run more expensive then than a puppy. I don't like to judge anyone without a fair understanding but from what you've already posted it's really hard to think you are capable of handling another dog. Please neuter your dog, it's the best thing for him. |

Definitely no. PLEASE do not breed. |
wow............................................... ....................................no |
Really? :2popkorn: Waiting for the polite police to show up any minute now. |
Nope. |
or not |
I just want to comment on a previous reply that stated that neutering a male did not help with aggression but actually made it worse. That type of "research" is the height of stupidity. Anyone who has casually observed the difference between a neutered male and an unneutered male knows the difference in personality. An unneutered male has one thing that it is dealing with and that is the need to mate. It cannot escape the need to mate when the scent of a female is in the air. That scent can be miles away and that male will smell it. What a cruel thing it is to assign a dog to that type of torment through out it's life just because someone may want a littler of puppies or some human male feels it is not a 'humane' thing to do. Animals are not like humans in things concerning mating. They are driven by scent and hormones when they are unaltered. It is not a thing that can be turned off at will. An unaltered male also tends to become more territorial than an altered dog and that sense of territory can become dangerous at times. Ever hear of a dog fight? Unaltered males fight because of territory and mating issues. I find it difficult to understand why anyone would try to defend not altering their dog in this day of known science and millions of homeless animals suffering and being put to death in this country alone. Irresponsible. |
