I only read the OP then watched the video, then I cried! I was crying thinking OMGosh that dog is WAY too high up to survive. Those balloons go above the clouds, the cold temperature and high elevation and pressure would easily kill a small 4lb dog. I was seriously in tears... then kept reading the comments, the joke was a joke! SO MEAN. |

Very bad prank -- NOT funny When I watched the video of Charli Roo floating away, it looked so fake to me that I just didn't take it seriously. I can't help but believe that a real dog, tied to balloons and set free to float upwards would be struggling to get free. The Charli Roo in the video was as still as a stuffed dog. I agree with everyone that it was a prank of the worst kind -- because it gave yet more ideas to animal abusers and real sicko's. It would have been a better prank to attach balloons to Nick and watch him float away and then shoot the balloons as he was over the Hudson. Teach the kid some manners. |
I think it was most horrible it was radio broadcast as being real, children listening to the radio on the way to school were told to look up and see if they could see the dog floating away...just sickening all around. Can you imagine what you'd feel like if you thought for over 6 hours this is what happened to your dog? That's not a prank it's a law suit. |

Since I was the original OP I would just like to end this by saying Nick Cannon discusts me. There’s just something so very unpleasant and poorly thought out about this entire situation. It is the least funny prank / publicity stunt ever done very poor taste. How can one be that desperate for headlines and attention when they are married to MK? I agree with all the posters that said he should be banned and should be charged. Total loser! |
