What's your baby's sleeping style? Uni is an under the cover upside down girl. She always has her head pointed down towards the foot of the bed. Like she crawls under the covers from by my head and doesn't bother to turn around. :p Smokey and Chloe both are on top of the cover sleepers. Smokey is up by my tummy, Chloe is always at the foot of the bed. How about yours? :D |
Gizmo has a different spot depending what time of the night. Without the DH being there, he'll be my cuddle bug and lay on his belly with his head on my arm... When DH is home and in bed with us, he'll start the beginning of the night between us, and then migrate down the bed. He loves to curl under his seperate blanket in the fetal position :p |
Levi is (FINALLY!) turning into more of a cuddler. :D He used to always sleep curled up at the bottom of my bed by my feet. Within the last few months, he's finally given into my pleas for cuddling. He still sleeps curled up, but now he curls up by my stomach or by my knee. I love it! He's always slept on top of the covers - he HATES being under a blanket! But he does love to scratch on blankets until they are in the perfect position. |
Jada has her own pillow by mine and she usually sleeps with her butt pointed at my face...Bogie is between her pillow and mine all snuggled in like a bug. He has to be right by my head. |
I've got one snuggled under my arm, one under the covers down at my feet, and one on top of the covers. All on a twin-size bed. |
Riley snuggles way under the covers but is touching me. Lily likes up by my arms are head snuggled in. And Maddi likes to lay on the opposite side of the yorkies by my head. Sometimes under the covers and other times on top. I am well guarded at nights with all my furkids:rolleyes::D |

He has never gone under the covers, he doesn't like that. But yesterday I woke up to him laying directly next to me like a human with his head on the pillow. Usually he is sleeping sprawled up, with his feet sticking straight in the air, LoL |

Sugar usually lays with her entire body on her ($65 memory foam pillow ;) ) Butt in my face. good thing she isn't gassy :p If I dare to roll over too many times or (horror!!) uncover her when I roll ~ she sighs. Loudly. and will retreat to the living room to sleep alone  |

My brother's pup sleeps like a human too. :D He sleeps under the covers though. Head on a pillow, under the covers, and usually on his back or on his side. He's such a funny little monkey. |

Nikki sleeps right next to me at the head of the bed and likes to be covered up. Cali sleeps in the the little nook in my headboard. Roxie sleeps in her bed on my bed. Pixie use to sleep in the other bed next to Roxie. Since her fear of storms I set up beds in my walk in closet and she sleeps in there. |
These are making me laugh!!!! I never thought in my life that three furkids not even totaling 15 lbs, would call the shots of where me and my DH would sleep, but.....they do. One above my head on MY pillow, one under the covers and loves to be spooned, and the other on his back, feet straight up in the air at the end of the bed on top of the covers!!! :p Our three gown kids think we've lost it! They weren't even allowed to sleep with us, unless they were sick, lol! |
Lola sleeps behind my knees, Marjarita at my back and Gizmo sleeps at my shoulder with his head on my neck. My DH works nights so it is just us. |

My Bella refuses to sleep in bed. She will stay up there for about an hour or so, then hopes onto the floor, passed her doggie bed which is under my nightstand, only to curl up into a ball under the bed! I'm hoping Violet will be a cuddle bug! The rescue we were fostering was 8lbs and she HAD to sleep at the top on my head on my pillow.....dare I move or roll over she would growl, reposition, then fall back asleep! |

Our story is boring. Only Gracie sleeps in my bed. She starts out on her pillow with her front paws touching my neck breathing on the back of my head. If she gets cold she gets under the covers in the crook of my knees. If she gets too warm she will get on top the covers. Lily and Rubin sleep in their crates by choice, I never close the door, and the pups sleep in their crates too. |
Well during the day, Katie Scarlett either snoozes on the couch in the man cave in a funky position that I can't quite explain OR she cradles in my arm like a baby on her back and sleeps while I rub her belly. During the night, she sleeps in her crate right next to our bed. She either curls up in a ball or is on her back with her legs up in the air. She's so funny! I love sleeping pups! :) |
I don't think there is a yorkie in the world that doesn't hog the bed! I've never had more than ten inches of bed in my life.:D Kacee's preferable spot is sleeping stretched out along the side of a pillow. Sometimes she likes to sleep between the pillows. When she gets cold, she wants to cuddle and get under the covers squished up against me and that's how I end up with ten inches at the edge of the bed.:D |
I caught Uni sleeping on her back with her legs up in the air once when she was a pup. It was THE funniest thing I ever saw! Like in the cartoons when animals die, they flip upside down and their legs go up. I'm surprised a lot of pups do this! do they have shorter legs? bc Uni's are long now and I guess that's why she doesn't do it anymore. |

All stretched out hogging the bed. They are all around My Husbnanf and the 5 cats are all around me |
Sadie sleeps next to Daddy on top the covers, Scooter sleeps under the covers between my legs, Thor sleeps on top the covers in a different spot every night and Little Bit tries to get right on my head every night. Molly has to sleep in an x-pen because of her sight. I cant have her falling off the bed or roaming around and hurting herself. |
When Callie is on the bed which she normally isn't unless one of us is sick she likes to lay by my feet at first and then when I wake up shes snuggled up around my knees on top of the covers. |
ZoE is an under the covers, head on the pillow right next to me kind of pup. If I have the audacity to turn over during the night and wake her up, she doesn't move at all, she just opens her eyes and stares at me til I stop moving as if to say "are you done yet?", then she closes her eyes, gives a big sigh as if to say "you woke me up for that??? and then goes right back to sleep. Maybe I'm reading too much into the staring & the sighing, but I try not to turn over too much  |

Teddy curls up wherever Max will allow him, by my tummy or chest, against Max. :) |

I forgot to add that during the day, Max likes to sleep with his head hanging out of his bed, onto the floor. His breeder had pictures of his litter that showed Max doing this from very early on. |
Kaji migrates at night. He starts off curled up under my chin, in my arms. He then moves on to various positions next to my tummy, behind my knees, at my feet, or on my pillow. When we had a bed in our own place, he had half of a full size bed complete with his own pillows. Now that we sleep on the couch some nights, it's a balancing act. If I even get up for water or something, he steals my spot. He even puts his head on my pillow! |
