New on the block here Hi, everyone. I just found this site a week ago and wish I had found out about it sooner. I lost my little guy almost 4 weeks ago and have done all the things recommended to locate him. He still is not home and have no leads as to where he might me now. I will not give up! I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. Last week I received numerous calls from people regarding 4 stray Yorkies.... they were all different dogs, but not of them were my guy. They all found their homes. There is a great bond with other Yorkie families and I met some wonderful people. I am just hoping that whoever has him, realizes that they should not keep him, and he needs to go back to him home with his family. |
I'm so very sorry... I hope you find your little guy! |
Thank you for you good wishes..... It saddens me to post this. My little guy brought me such happiness and joy..... reading all the forums that others post are so sweet and funny. I just watched a video of a little puppy playing with a mirror and it made me laugh. |
So sorry to hear your baby is lost and I pray you both find each other soon. Can you post pictures please so that others on this site, who are in your area, can be on the lookout as well. |
So sorry hope he is returned back to you |
I hope he is returned to you soon. I am so sorry that your baby was lost. Praying for you. |
so very sorry I hope you find your baby. |
I am so very sorry and I hope you find him or he finds you. |
I have pictures in my album. I don't know how to put it on my page..... need help |
I'm so sorry to hear about Max. Its so devastating when something like this happens. I hope you are reunited soon. Was he microchipped? Make sure to put up flyers, post it on craigslist, and call all your local Vets, Animal Hospitals, groomers, pet stores and see if you can post flyers/pictures there as well. Again I hope you get your Max back safe and sound:( |
I am so very sorry to read about this. I cannot imagine what you have been going through. Have you seen these postings for How To Find A Lost Dog or Lost Yorkie andHow to make a Lost/Found Yorkie Poster? They are located in our Library section and provide great suggestions for finding a lost dog. |
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry your little one is missing:unlove: I will send out good thoughts that wherever he is, he is safe, warm, and fed, until he can get home to you. Hopefully whoever has him (hopefully someone does, at least he's safe if that's the case) will realize that keeping him is wrong and will make an effort to locate his true home. Good luck, and keep reading here. There are some great tips on how to find a missing dog, and lots of caring folks that can "hold your hand" until your baby is found, and beyond:love: Hang in there!!!! |
I am very sorry that this is happening to you, your Yorkie and your family. I will pray that your little one will be home soon. |
Welcome to YT, and my heart breaks for your loss. I hope and pray that you find him soon! Hugs |
so sorry your little one is lost I would for sure post posters around. who ever has him may think he was just let go. And go to all the shelters and call all the pounds to see if he is there. I am sure you have done most of these steps but if not maybe it will help. The posters in the neighbor hood should help lots. Place an add in the paper may also help. I sure hope he finds his way home soon . |
Oh my, I'm so very sorry! Sending prayers your little guy is returned to you and your family soon. |
So sorry!!! I hope you can find your little angel! Welcome to YT also! Hugs to you! |
Thanks for all your wishes..... I had no idea what an impact he was in my life and the loss I have been feeling has been over whelming. |
Max is still missing and yes he is micro chipped..... there is not a vet, shelter, yorkie breeders, or groomers that have not met me over the last month. They all know me by my first name and Max's name. I made up business cards with his picture and information to hand out to everyone and many of the cards are taped to the desks to keep it as a handy reminder. The community has been great and I have met many Yorkie people as well. I never knew what a tight community there was, it has been very heartwarming. There were many places that I was not allowed to put up posters so the cards came in very handy. |
Max Max is so adorable! I am praying that he is returned to you safe and soon! |
I hope you find him soon! I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost ozzy. But i am sure wherever he is that he is safe and misses you as much as you miss him! I am sure he will be home very soon!<3 |
I hope you find your little guy soon!!!I couldnt imagine not haveing my baby around! |
Thank you for your good wishes! I hope he comes home soon too. He is microchipped and I am always hearing stories of homecomings...............I hope that I will be able to share that story too. |
Keep your head high! You and your little one are in my prayers. Just keep trying. |
Oh I'm so very sorry. I hope he makes it home to you. |
Good luck. Hope he returns. |
I got a new puppy. I always thought that I would get another one for Max to play because we have other dogs.... only they are big. My laborer adored Max and she has missed Max so much, almost as bad as I have.... So, we got the puppy and within a week they are the best of friends. They play all day and nap together. It is priceless! When Max does come home he will have another family member to play with..... but not before I have loved the daylight out of him first. |
Max has been gone three months, today. I have not gone a day without thinking about him. Please, anyone reading this and know of someone who has gotten an adult yorkie in the last three months, please question. Merry Christmas everyone |
Sending out best wishes to you, I hope your little guy comes home soon. |
Just seeing this for the first time. I am so sorry your little one is missing. Will keep you and him in my prayers in hopes that he is returned to you very soon. |
