I am having the same dilema with Romeo -- to cut or not to cut! I like him in a short cut because he can be a wild man with longer hair. Either way is cute it's just a matter of the work involved in long vs short.

He is very cute and will be either style you choose..:)..however coming from someone who pefers a "clean shaven look" I prefer shaved. I keep all of my dogs except for my beagle of course in some sort of shaven cut.

I can't really vote for short or shaggy. Pnut has the most adorable face, he looks great both ways. Although it will be winter soon and he may be warmer in long hair. My little Abba Boy looks all head and ears without his longish fur, so i keep him sort of medium .

Definitely short he looks like a cuddly puppy and it makes his coat look thicker! Precious

The first pic is him currently, the 2nd was a while ago when he was shaved down. I love him shaggy, but then I think he looks so cute all shaved! I love his hair shaggy bc you can see his colors, and his hair is so soft and I love to snuggle him right after a bath, he is so soft!

Lol, it's only down to her knees when I brush it straight down. It doesn't look nearly that long normally, though, because it turns under her body and is VERY thin at the tips. Also, her face is still pretty short, as is her chest, because I shaved it (her chest) a few months ago (I didn't really want to, but i sort of messed it up and ended up having to do it, lol!), so it's about the same length as Pnut's. She actually looks a lot like Pnut; the coloring of their tan is VERY similar... but he looks more like a little man to me, if you know what I mean :D Plus, Lucy's top-knot hair is wavy, not smooth like his. She is my messy haired girl most of the time, but I just love the way she looks when she's all dolled up. She's like her mommy; a little rough around the edges, but with a little bit of work she cleans up nice :D

As for Pnut's hair, I think he'll look adorable either way. That's one very handsome little man you have there :D

Shaggy since it's getting cooler. Cute either way but it's time to get prepared for the cooler days.

Just like Yorkiedaze said........I, too, think you know deep down what you really want to do.

If you want my opinion, I say keep it long. You could always trim up the thin ends and keep his hair at a medium length on his face so that it doesn't look shaggy and get in his eyes, if you know what I mean.

I keep Betty Boop's long. Then, again, I don't mind grooming her and brushing her a couple times a day. I'm thinking of trimming around her eyes (not shaving around them) because hair is always making them water. My vet told me when I first got her to not let hair rub her eyes constantly because it can cause cataracts later in life. I like to cuddle her, too, because she is so soft!!:)

Peanut is gorgeous in whichever style you decide on...he's precious. You could always just let him grow, just tiddy him up...like tipping his ears, little trim here and there, just to to make you feel he's a little neater, LOL. ;)

That's what I'm going to try with Zhoie for winter. She gets cool so easily, I'm going to grow her back hair out through the winter (if I can stand it); as I keep her back shaved and face and legs long. :rolleyes:
