you have to choose one and stick to it. when lola was allowed in bed while i was away for work it took a week to get her back to sleeping in her bed. i do love cuddling with her, but we need alone time in bed too and her prancing all over our heads was not making for restful sleep. she sleeps in her bed now and knows where she sleeps. |
Kaos has slept in his crate next to my bed since he was a pup. I am a firm believer that he needs his own alone time/safe place at night to sleep. (I believe that it helps establish pack order, as a pup as well.) He is going to turn 2 this month and I'm considering graduating him to a dog house very soon. I would love to wake up to the yorkie kisses, but him sleeping in bed at night is just not for me. Although... if he is not feeling well, or after his neuter and such he was allowed to sleep the whole night with me. He does well wherever he goes. He can snuggle in my bed all day any time if he wants though. :) Oh and Kaos was a bed-wetter as a puppy. So it would never had worked out. LOL |
My Ruby has been sleeping with us since the first two weeks we had her ....she has her own room that she stays in when were not home we have a baby gate its a huge room with her beds and toys all her fun stuff ...she is potty train on the pads so there as well.....during the night if she gets up we let her of the bed , cause its to high for her and she goes and does her thing drinks and comes right back in the bedroom ....and if your in the bathroom she will give you a look like umm I'm ready your taking to long lol lol!!!!! I've never had any problems with her in the bed at all she just new when she had to get down .......there so smart !!!:animal36:animal-pa |
