You should join the Teapot club! We are proud of our "over standard" yorkies. My first yorkie is 10 1/2 pounds and the second is 7 1/2 pounds and I couldnt be happier. Some times people will ask you if your yorkie is "real" I like to say if they were imaginary then I wouldnt have to pick up their poo :p |

1 Attachment(s) Rory and Lane are almost always the biggest at yorkie meetups. It always cracks me up to see them standing next to the more "normal" sized yorkies! Thankfully, I haven't encountered anyone who thought they were too big to play with their yorkies - that would totally hurt my feelings for them. :( One of these is not like the others! Actually in this case, it's really more like two of these (my two to be exact) aren't like all the others who aren't pictured. :p Attachment 353623 |

I think that is so cute, "teapots"!!:D |
There are so many sizes, I would however be angry if I was told it would be a teenie tiny, and got that big! chloe is 5 months and weighs 3.9 pounds. I think she's considered a "toy" size. She's slowed down on eating, and playing more so I think she will top out around 5 to 6 lbs. |

Her dad was about 5 pounds, and her mom was 7 before the babies... and she's 6 pounds but longer and taller than both of them and the rest of her litter already! I really like it, being used to big dogs I can cuddle with her more and don't have to worry about breaking her when playing around. |

Kaos is the same weight as Bandit, and I have to say I never really noticed how small he is. I guess cause he's always with me. |
