Jada Just Gave Me The Scare Of My Life!! I am still trembling!! We were sitting on the love seat, me on the laptop on YT of course and Jada and Bogie asleep beside me. Jada was really out of it and sound asleep. She started stirring a little and I looked over at her. She was trying to stand up and suddenly fell over on her back with her mouth opened wide. I thought she was having a seizure or had stopped breathing. I grabbed her up and her leg wouldn't straighten out. The little stinker had caught the long hair on her leg around one of her teeth and it was caught. After I got it untangled, she looked at me like I had lost my mind. DS came running out of his bedroom to see what had happened, Jada is yapping at him, I am trembling and almost crying and DH is trying to calm me down by saying she is ok. I think It just took about 5 years off my life.:rolleyes: |

My Jenks fell asleep on the arm of my chaise lounge and rolled off it onto the floor earlier while I was sitting right beside him I jumped up and he is just laying there not moving :eek: I was about to panic when he rolls over hops back up onj his spot and closes his eyes like nothing happened:confused: |

omg.. was afraid to read the post. Remy did that one night. She caught her nails of front paw in the hair of her back leg... about 3 in the morn. I should find the thread I posted so you can see how nuts I went lol I do understand how we love them so much we get so scared |

Oh my goodness! Thank the Lord it was just a hair issue. They scare the you know what out of us sometimes! Yes, I think it does cost us about 5 years! :p Give Jada an extra hug. It will make you feel better! :D |

How did I miss this last night? Oh right I remember now :rolleyes: ......I'm so glad that Jada is all drama and there was no real emergency. Guess she just wanted to give you one of those heart checks :nursing:they like to hand out every once in a while. ;) |

So glad Jada is ok..but i know how you were feeling the first time i found Micah with his nail caught in his long hair, it was so scary i cut it loose with the scissors and after the third time he has been wearing a shorter coat |
Michelle, I'm so glad Jada is okay, and that I didn't see thisi 'til this morning. My Cooper gets his hind leg caught in his long ears about once every few months and it STILL freaks me out (prob because he yelps like he's being tortured, too). The first time I was half-way to the car to race him to the vet before I really saw what was going on. :eek: Give her extra hugs today :) |
That would have scared me too! I worry about their nails getting caught, but I never thought about a tooth! So glad that's all it was.... Silly dogs! They shouldn't scare us like that. |
