He looks like a frightened little yorkie to me. I love full tails. Just wait until his hair grows out on the tail - it will be beautiful - like a happy flag waving. Floppy ears are adorable. I hope his skin clears up and he adapts to your home. You are a special lady to help this little guy grow into a confidant boy.

A vet can check him for anemia from the fleas. It is so great to see when a baby who was not in a good home finally gets to a home full of love and attention.

If you look at my avaitar you will see that one of mine also has floppy ears. If I shave them then they go up about half the time. But she is adorable and I love her no matter what position her ears are in.

I agree. And why would he have hair on his head if he had gotten into poison ivy. (I didn't know dogs could get that!) When I got my Gracie she was nearly bald from her shoulders down due to a flea allergy. She had pulled or scratched most of her hair out. What hair was left was dry and brittle. I got her on a good diet, allergy pills and clothing to keep her from scratching and biting till the effects of the fleas were gone. My Skeeter has a tail too and it is really neat to see it wagging when he is happy. Good luck with your adorable baby and welcome to YT!

well i dont know! that was she told me about the dog. and he was poisoned like 2 or 3 weeks ago. (to be honest i dont know if its true or not) he is scratching a little and in the legs it looks like he had lost his hair! i hop it grows back, i cant wait to take him to the vet . someone told me that he looks older (supposed he is 11 months) and his ex owner did not send yet his records and i asked her the date of his birth and i still waiting the answer!!!

Make sure your vet does a through exam, including palpating his knees, and also elbows. I would make sure I do ask for a fecal exam as well.

Those second set of pics, you can already see how he is settling into his forever home already!.

He's absolutely adorable. Have you been able to bath him? Maybe there was something enviornmental that caused him that reaction, but either way the vet will be able to help you. Good luck with your rescue:D

yeah!! and im gonna ask for everything.... this little baby is doing great in our home im sooooo happy :)

yes i gave him a bath!! and on monday im gonna ask an appoiment to take him to the vet (cant wait!!):)
