I was really upset...
 

I don't know what is going on with people.. I had an incident with an another person on the bus today. I was coming home (woohoo my boss let me go home early so I can rest before my flight) by bus. It is really cold in Boston today, had a little bit of snow. Anyway.. Guinness was shaking.. so I put him in my bag with a scarf. Then i was getting off the bus, that is when I got really upset. Two women were "oh.. so cute".. and I was saying "Thank you.." and then I was trying to walk fast to go underground to take a train. Then this crazy a** came behind my back and started blocking my way. He goes, "Huh? You think you are Paris Hilton huh. putting a dog in your F***ing bag. You think you are cute or something.. you are so ugly and carrying a dog in your bag. Who do you think you are. You are not even pretty. You look f***ing ugly. You stupid b****, you are not Paris Hilton" and on and on. (by the way sorry.. for inappropriate words. )

I got really really upset. I am not Paris Hilton, and happy that I am not. I usually can just ignore and walk away. But I just couldn't. Because he was blocking my way. Before I noticed. My left hand (I am right handed but I had Guinnness on my right hand) reached his back. I guess I kinda punched him. Then he was trying to punch my face, so I told him to "p*** off" and looked at his eye. He said one more time that I was ugly. He seemed to get scared and ran away.

By the way.. I don't think I am pretty or anything, but I look okay. I mean... he didn't have any rights to judge me like that. He doesn't even know me or Guinness. I felt really awful that my left hand punched his back as I wanted him to move out of my way... I never do such a thing. I rarely.. to never swear at anyone. He really touched my nerve.

Not a good day.. I am flying in 5 hrs.. I hope nobody gives me hard time on the plane.

and dont ever think your ugly ever, ever ever... put yourself on a pedestal ok.. your plane ride will be perfect... have a nice time..

Sorry to hear it was such a lousy bus ride... maybe the freaky guy was on the same bus and offended that you didn't speak to him so he started insulting you? At any rate, I would have probably been scared to death if it would have happened to me- no doubt in my mind I would have took swing at him also or thrown something if I could have.
I hope your flight is without any incidents today... and you have a good holiday weekend!

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I don't know what has happened to people in this country. It doesn't bode well for the future. Anyway, I'm sorry that happened to you. Try not to dwell on it. Hopefully, you won't meet too many of these crazies. :)

I would of beat the mess out of him.. Actually I would of told him Thanks for reassuring me that I didn't look like Paris Hilton.... LOL... He was probably drunk or high. Don't worry about it. He is the sad one - nothing better to worry about...

That is horrible. I'm glad you stood up to him though :thumbup: I have been called Paris Hilton too while shopping with Ruby in her bag. Poeple just get jelous because you and your dog are so Cute :) I hope you have a better plane ride and a great Thanksgiving (i'm jelous mine was a month ago ;) ) Hearing all this talk about turkey and everything makes me hungry for it, i guess i'll just have to wait for Christmas :p

So sorry that happened to you. He sounds like such a wacko! I mean, who goes up to a complete stranger and says those kinds of things. Try not to let that bring you down, and have fun on your trip! Remember to smile :)

I can't believe that, what an a**. I just read your other post about the licker. Sounds like you have to ride the bus with some real winners, poor thing. When people feel the need to say things like that, it's because they are JEALOUS. Otherwise they would just think it to themselves and move on. You are NOT ugly and I am glad you stood up to that jacka**. People like that really make me mad. :mad: Good luck on your flight and Happy Thanksgiving.

Don't give that jerk one more minute of your time. The holiday season brings out the very worst in so many people who do not feel loved or wanted. Go your own way, the way you want and when you look in the mirror and see your face looking back at you just say "I am doing what I am doing cause I KNOW in my heart it is right!"

How rude!! I am so sorry that happened to you. He was probably trying to make him self feel better about some thing or another. Don't let those words get to you. Words are powerful, just don't believe anything he said. I'm sure you and Guinness looked hot!!! Some people really don't understand that these guys get cold and need protection from the wind, snow and cold just as we do. Oh well, let those people walk in ignorance! Sounds like a homeless - schizophrenic - person to me....also probably one who does drink or take drugs. Most of these "poor souls" are not aggressive or mean. They often loiter around bus stations, train depots, downtown areas, etc, to stay warm - plus they really have no other place to go other than some shelters. This particular person should have been reported (but who would you report someone like that to - when you're in a hurry to get away and get home?

Sorry for your experience. It certainly was not a normal response to a "cute little dog." That's what makes me think you were accousted by a homeless, mentally ill person.

And calling you "ugly." That is also not normal behavior. People don't call people "ugly." I think most of us are not knock-out georgous/handsome movie star, model-like people. We are just regular people like most other people in the world. And, occasionally, we do have a "good hair day" and look great!

While I'm on the ugly subject (which none of us are)!!!! Go to search and enter "Sam ugly dog." Unreal!! - You have to see this! I mean YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! This dog is so ugly that some people think he's cute. I can't quite go that far.

Good grief...just when I think I've heard it all! What a total idiot he is! Everything he said and did is so uncalled for and certainly not expected! He does sound like a mental case and please don't let what he said get you down. You are by no means ugly and he was just being cruel saying something like that...and he must be carrying around a big chip on his shoulder and just looking for people to take it out on. He was probably just jealous and felt like you were high class since a yorkie is considered a "high society dog." Maybe he felt like this was his opportunity to take out his life frustrations on someone who seems to have a "charmed life" just because of the dog. In that case I would say to him, "I'm sorry you feel like you have to put me down for no reason at all. You don't know anything about me. I put her in the bag because it keeps her warm, not to be cute. But I don't have to answer to you or anyone else on that matter. Now leave before I start screaming for help."
I know the guy was wrong for what he said. He'll probably say it again to someone else. He needs to learn from someone that it's not right to put other people down because of his own misconceptions. I'm glad you're safe. There are some crazy people in this world.

wow! I think you are one brave girl for even living in a place like Boston by yourself and navigating the public transportation. I think everyone is right and that guy is a wack job. First of all, people who say things like that to perfect strangers obviously have issues of their own and just say things to make their pitiful selves feel better-don't think it works! Just as someone said in a previous post...don't waste another minute thinking about that guy-he doesn't deserve your time. As Eleanor Roosevelt said: "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." Make that your mantra and live it..chin up girl, and have a good time on your trip!

I wouldn't waste one minute on such a jerk but I really think sometimes larger cities have more of a problem with inappropriate comments. Perhaps it's because we only have buses as public transportation in my city. Or, maybe it's just the south. Come to think of it, though, we had an incident in which a professional in a SUV got upset with someone on the interstate and the end result was road rage and a dead mommy of twins for no reason. So, you know what, there are inappropriate jerks everywhere, just forget it, consider the source.

I am so sorry that this happened and I am sure you are not ugly! This person is just not socialized and one day will get what is coming to him. I am sorry you feel bad, but you are luck this crazy person did not hurt you or your precious baby.

If I was there I would have punched him out myself, though only if Dennis was not there. I would be to afraid that this nut would hurt him and not me.

Omg! How terrible. People who have the need to put other people down are the ones who are sooo insecure with themselves that they feel the need to put other people down, and that makes them the ugly ones on the inside and the outside. Please don't let him get the best of you. You always are soo sweet on here, and are always sooo kind to everyone here, and to me, that makes you a very beautiful person! Who is probably just as beatiful on the outside as you are on the inside!!!

He obviously has issues. He was probably the one that was ugly. And felt he had to put another person down just to make himself look good. He probably does not feel good about himself and that is why he feels the need to be mean to others. Probably just jealous. He needs mental help.
