NYC YT'ers I need recommendations! :)

Hi Everyone,

For those of you that live in NYC (or near by) where do you take your pups to play? We live on the Upper West Side so we are near Central Park. There is a small dog unofficial meet up in Central Park that we have taken Teddy to a few times. The only issue is since it is unofficial there is sometimes large dogs there and I get nervous.

If any of you know of a place to bring small pups to play or know of any meet ups, please let me know!

It is crazy because there are SOOOO many yorkies in NYC! The place we go to is right next to the wollman rink amusement park in Central Park. It is a little fenced off area and they allow you to take your dogs off there leashes. On weekdays it is busy from 6:30 to 7:45ish. There are always a few yorkies there and Teddy flocks to them. I would love to be able to find a "yorkie meetup" though.

I'm in New York for a few months! I would love to do a meet up, though Thor is usually scared of puppies. Well, he's scared of pretty much any dog alive, maybe I should stop classifying it.

I can get to Central Park.

There is a dog run by south street seaport, its off leash as well and Ive only ever seen small dogs there. I brought Kaos there once and he loved it. I'd love a yorkie meetup in NYC.

I just moved to the Upper west side 4 days ago, i don't have any friends or furfriends for my lola, n i would love to meet someone from this area, i am always looking for places to take lola and meet new friends, but i haven't been able to find anything yet.
tomorrow there's an event in centralpark, the moms from "doggy moms show are going to be there and supossly there is going to be food and treats and products for our furbabies, Is anyone going?? maybe we can meet up there, what do u think???

Ok great!! Thor is adorable!! We would love to meet up! Teddy is 9 months. I wouldn't say he is scared of other dogs but he is a breed snob lol. He prefers to play with yorkies over everyone else. We are actually going to take him to a meet up in Central Park tomorrow. I included the link below:

I used to take mine to a small dog playgroup at Bath and Biscuits on Monday nights- the one is on freedom place (between west end ave. and riverside place) and I think 67th street? It is an indoor meetup, so good for all weather conditions.
