Haircuts

Bailey gets a haircut every 6 weeks. Hen we go to the Groomer I don't really no what to ask for. I know I want a puppy cut, room for the bow... Etc. Can you post pictures of your yorkie and there hair cut so I can find one and see if I can find one that I really like so I can show her a picture.

Well I love love posting pictures of my girls. However, I don't think mine is what you are looking for. I just got my Mikki who is recovering from a terrible grooming job. So, I will post one of Rosie. I don't cut any hair except a little around her face. We keep her long year round. Good luck and hope you find the right cut.

Although that is not what I'm looking for, your yorkies are SO pretty! I wish I could keep Bailey's hair that long, but that's a little bit to much work for me... It's hard enough to keep it looking nice short! Thanks though!

Ha ha! It really is work. I can see why so many keep the hair short. We have daily brushings. Rosie is so good about it. We have had hers long for so long she is just used to it. Now the one with the bad haircut, Mikki ( I didn't post her picture), don't want anything to do with her hair being brushed. Lol. Have you looked at the pictures by searching for haircuts or grooming?

I haven't but I will. Thanks for the suggestion. It snows in the winter and I think Akko the snow will clump on her hair... It already does that now!

I just ask for a puppy cut and bows (I don't get bows in the middle, but by the ears). She always looks so cute with the pink bows by her ears. I must say, Bailey's bows always fall off the same day or in the next few days.

I had Bentley in a puppy cut a few months ago. I liked it but love the full coat look so now we are growing him out. Which is going well with the exception of the hair on the bridge of his nose. That's a pain. When I had him cut this way I made certain to tell them I did not want him too short. So they scissor cut all over instead of shaving. It was in a bunch of layers. It was very natural looking. And I told them, told them again, then called when I left to tell them one last time not to cut his bangs and that I wanted it up in a topknot. They did an amazing job. Aww! I love this... He is SO cute. I will post pictures when she is done... With this hurricane, it doesn't look like I'm going to get her cut until next weekend. I will post pics though!

such cute babies. i really wanted to keep ziggy in a puppy cut when he grew up too, i think its cyte.. but then i saw th maximo boys- teddy and max, now im definately going to grow it out. but they are cute either way, even when wet, lol

here are some pics of Ruby's puppy cut. I did the grooming myself. If your yorkie is tolerant of being groomed, it is a lot cheaper to do on your own, and it is al lot easier than you think! these pics are of my first and second attempt at it. and you can buy a grooming kit for the price one grooming costs.

Wow! your yorkies loook GREAT! I dont think I could do that... and then Bailey would be mad at me and avoid me the rest of the day for being mean to her. Hahaha
