| wow, the same thing happened to my Chihuahua, Tootsie today. i didnt see a bee but the vet said that could be what happened. i let all 3 dogs out in the yard , and a couple minutes later, Tootsie came limping in the house. i called the vet and she said to take a really good look at the paw which i did and she said to keep an eye on her overnight , if i see any swelling to call her. and she will call me in the morning. its been over 4 hours now since it happened. she started bearing more weight on her paw about an hour ago and is now in bed sleeping. Hope all is ok with Peanut !!!

| Unless allergic, should be okay. So glad you are at the vet just to be sure. Hope little Pnut only has a sore paw to show and no reaction. Let us know when you can.

| Thanks guys for the well wishes and concerns. The vet was able to pull the stinger out, he gave him some injections. The vet said he should be fine. His leg is starting to go down ( it was pretty swollen). He is acting out of it and still shaken up. He keeps pacing back and forth. We are home now. My poor baby.... I'm going to comfort him I will post you guys in the morning, I have a feeling its going to be a long night. .. pnut is pretty sensitive so I know he needs me.. Thanks again!

| Good to hear - should be okay after gets settled down. The little thing is probably exhausted and confused. Hope you all do get some rest tonight and tomorrow is a much better day, albeit with a sore sore paw.

| Glad he's okay, but it shouldn't have gotten two bad anyway. Bailey got stung on the but by a bee when she sat in her bag (she sat on the bee). She yelped, but we got the stinger out, luckily her fur had a puppy cut. We got it out with tweezers and cleaned it up and she was just fine. No swelling or anything (we were lucky). |
