Last year my husband went into a grocery store for less than 5min. When he returned the stereo from the dash and all tools from the back of his SUV were gone. Im thinking it would take less time to remove a small dog and run with it. |
I too can not leave Sparky in the car. Great for you for calling the police! |
No...it's not ok to leave the pet in the car with the a/c running and the doors lock... because, I have a Ford too, and if you check, I think you'll find that you can't lock the driver door if the engine is running. In addition to that, the engine could quit for any number of reasons, turning the interior into blast furnace. I have a conversion van, and I was hoping I could leave the generator running with the a/c on and leave my babies for just a few minutes. Thank God the first time I tried it , I stayed in the van with them. The generator stalled when the fridge and the a/c came on at once, and quit. My boys would have been dead in 15 minutes in 100 degree heat. I'll NEVER trust any mechanical device to keep them safe in the car. Just leave them at home. |
