| I don't know you dear but being a chronic pain sufferer due to bone issues it was gut wrenching just to read you message. I hope they are giving you enough pain medication. If you are in that much pain I would not hesitate to ask for better pain relief. Sometimes a combination of a couple of meds works better than just one. Don't feel ashamed. You are going through a horribly painful event. Don't worry about the effects. When the pain starts backing off you will be able to taper down the medication slowly. Just ask the doctor what they think they would be feeling in your situation! My prayers and best wish are with you. Be well. |

| I am so sorry to hear that Cindy is going through all of this but I missed what happened. Was she injured in an accident or have a tumor? It sounds like she has been going through a terrible time and as a fellow orthopedic sufferer right now, I can relate! I am adding Cindy to my prayer list for YorkieTalk and hoping that before too long she is done with this long, painful process. As painful as it is, it is so good to have this versus amputation or severe crippling. Thank goodness for her surgeon! And her husband.

| Update! I spoke with Cindy today and wanted to give you all a quick update. She is feeling a little better. Of course she still has a ways to go before she is totally better. She will be in the halo until at least February. Her pain is starting to subside a bit and she isn't having to stay on the pain meds anymore. I hope we will see her back in the next couple of weeks. So those who want to place an order just hang in there. She wants everyone to know that she really appreciates all the prayers and well wishes more than you know. Now she just has to learn how to maneuver around with that big halo thing. Stairs should be a challenge.

| Glad to hear there is good progress being made. I hope things went correctly this time and that she will be better than after her past surgery. |
