Awwww, Gizzy would look adorable! But I am not good enough for selling. Lol. Maybe practicing and making for free. But not worth paying for. Lol. I can show you all the mistakes I made. But that is how you learn!! :D I do think the green would look adorable on Gizzy!! :)

You did a wonderful job! I think your found your talent indeed. I love to sew and I know darn well that dresses, for humans let alone dogs, are a pain.

So pretty!! Hard to believe it's your first!! I made my first one...too ashamed to post pictures...and it took me so long too :( You did a wonderful job! Keep it up! :thumbup: I am positive Lil Sis is proud of you!!


P.S. I got my sewing machine and still haven't figured out how to use it...:embarasse

I wasn't going to tell but I will. I didn't use a sewing machine! :eek: I sewed it all by hand. You know the old fashion way that granny did! :p My grandmother thought me how to make pillow cases and cross stitch. I haven't done it in years. I then learned how to make the no sew tie fleece blankets. But still don't know how to use a sewing machine!! I am trying to find someone locally to teach me. It would be much better for us to use the machine! :) And much much faster! :D So, I am there with you girl!

Me too! I sew it by hand too because I don't know how to use sewing machine. I wish my school had classes on sewing!! Would love that because I can get units too! :p Here's a picture of what I made...I'm kinda embarrassed because it looks bad...nothing to what I had in mind...hehe I guess I will have to let Ashlee make them :p I'm just going to make it a shirt or something...not good enough to be a harness. My fingers hurt after I finished too! :( Okay here's some pictures...I put Carmel's driver license on there. LOL I asked bf to make it and I really liked it so I thought why not add it on. :D

You did a good job!!!! You shouldn't be embarrassed at all! I think it is adorable!

So, you need to plan a trip to CA and AR!!! I am a fast learner! ;) Well, at 5'2" I always had to have people cut part of the pants off! I have been paying $7 for pants to be hemmed!

Babygirlrosie & Jennxling, you are both so talented! Babygirlrosie, I, too, love the bow! It looks perfect!
I took a sewing class in H.S. & made DD a baby blanket on a machine. LOL! If you look at the thread you can see where I got lead foot & it's sewed really tightly, then elsewhere really loose. If I attempt sewing again, it will be by hand.:rolleyes:
The only thing I ever made Princess was a "tube dress" out of a cute legwarmer, lol.:eek:

WOW! That is a special dress! And it's adorable.
The stores that sell machines have classes you can take on how to use them. (I, however, am embarassed to return to mine as I have even forgotten how to thread the thing! :eek:)

Thanks!! I've made a "tube dress" out of fabric for Emma...not so good looking. LOL In fact, it's been put away. :p
