Busted!
 

Rosie is such a sweet little furbaby in her Kwigy Bo carrier. I have bragged about how great she does. We go to the mall and she is fine. We go to Hancock fabric and she is fine. And so many other places without even a wimper.

Today I needed to run into the Dollar Tree to grab some things. I put Rosie in her KB and in we go. Made it to the check out. No one knows anything. So, I put her in the buggy while I write my check out. She starts squirming in her bag. You should have seen the cashiers face!!! :eek: Her mind was screaming "What is in that?!"

Well, at this point I am busted. The bag is moving, the cashier has no clue what is in the bag. So, what do you do?! :rolleyes: I told the cashier it was my dog in the bag and I took her in because it was so hot outside. :D Relief comes across her face, (I think she thought I had a snake, lol) and she says can I see her? I unzip and out pops Rosie!! :) She loved the cashier for saving her! Lol. The cashier petted her and told her how pretty she was. She also went on about how she loved Yorkies.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I found out today that I can bring Rosie into the Dollar Tree and I don't have to put her in the KB. The cashier said they allow them to come in as long as you can hold them. :)
I get to add another store to my list of pet friendly shopping places!!!

Oh no glad it was okay. I wonder if that is all dollar tree stores.

My one and only busted story did not end so well, LOL! Glad yours did... Too funny

She didn't say. I did not see a no pet sign on the door. I always look when I take Rosie in. That way if I am asked to leave I will inform them it is not posted. You might want to call your local one before hand. :)

That is so funny!!! LOL I wish I could have seen the cashiers face:) Our Dollar Tree allows dogs as long as you carry them or have them in a stroller. I have taken Jada and Bogie in there with me a couple of times.

Lol.. I love the way their heads pop out when you open the kb bags

When there's no "no pet" sign, it doesn't mean that you can't take them in...which sucks!! I took Carmel with my to FedEx the other day and they said no pets because they sold food...more like candies...I thought that was strange because isn't it only non-packaged food where pets are not allowed? Well, you guessed it, I took my business elsewhere. ;)

I wish Lucy liked to shop! I took her in the swanky neighborhood pet store today for a brand new harness . . . and she was shaking like a leaf. She does not like stores of any kind - I think she thinks she's at a Vet's office or something.

LMAO!!! i guess she didnt wanna be in the carrier any longer. :) i dont take my momo in any stores because i can never find a store thats pet friendly expect petco and petsmart. so i usually sit in the car with ac while my honey runs in but i would love to take in my momo maybe i should look up one of the carriers u use to start taking him in.

Yeah, lol! I snuck Armani in the grocery store real quick and he saw a kid and FREAKED out! Barking like crazy, everyone in the entire store, stopped to stare at me- or at least it felt that way. The manager threw me put with very strict instructions to never return with Armani. Yeah never did the sneaking thing after that! :eek:

Well, not all of them are pet friendly! :rolleyes: That is the joy of the KB carrier. It is sneaking them in! Lol. ;)

Oh no! Poor Armani! He was permanently banned from the store!! :p They act like we brought in a lion or something. I have not tried a grocery store. I am afraid she would "smell" food and make noise. Hmmmmm, maybe next on my list. :D

I know that people think that dogs are dirty or disease carriers,but seriously,my baby gets a bath as often as the kids. There is NO way I would allow my baby to touch a cart seat or store floor. Yes, I have a cart seat cover,just like the people toddlers use,only no leg holes for her to fall through.

Glad it turned out well for you! I don't bring Roxie into any stores, other than Petsmart, anymore. We were told to leave Party City one time because DBF was carrying her, and I felt really embarrassed. :( I did bring her into the bank once because I refused to leave her in the car for even that 2 minutes.

It does not surprise me pretty little Rosie charmed her way into the store clerk's heart! I always suspected she was a little charmer! ;)

We once got kicked out of a Target - after an employee screamed at us across a store. Other than the Target exp, ppl are usually very nice about her (she's always being a good girl in her bag).

I don't know how I would react if they yelled at me to leave. I know for sure I would never darken their doorstep again! But that is just me.

My lil friend, I agree with you. There are humans that are dirtier than my dog. Trust me! But some people don't seem to understand that.

Thanks everyone for saying such sweet things about my girl! :) We love the compliments we got. It makes Rosie get the "big head". Lol. ;)

I saw a lady in Krogers the other day - with her Yorkie kind of half standing/half laying on her groceries!

No bag; no hiding; just riding through the store on top of the groceries in the grocery cart. The yorkie was cute; dressed up - but STILL.

I can't believe they let her do that! They must be much more lenient here than where we moved from.

There was a lady in wal mart the other day. Same situation. So, I went up and asked her how she got by with bringing her dog in. It was a chihuahua. She said it was her service dog. They can't do anything to you if it is a service dog. Lol.

The first time I took Remy out I went to Publix (grocery store here) and had her in her bag in the cart. I didn't get too far.. the "security" told me to leave. :eek:was all huffy and said "well.. you lost my business":( but I was really embarrassed.
I ran home and looked up laws about taking pets into stores.. then I felt really dumb.:(:confused::confused::rolleyes::cool:
I still shop there.. not at that branch so much.

She was in her KB bag? How did they know? Yes, I would be embarrassed as well. ha ha. I was embarrassed yesterday until I found out she was cool with Rosie being there. But at least we are not leaving them in our car. Poor baby left in car when I was at Wal mart yesterday. I went in and out and the dog was still there. It was sad. :( Windows cracked but it is so hot here. Did report the license plate number. Don't know if they did anything. :(

It was pre kb bag.. But I had her in a bag with her little head out.. I felt really dumb!,,
