| Mayhem for 30 days... Just got another email from YT asking why they hadn't heard from me... I was so thrilled to join YT and looked forward to learning and sharing on the forums. Then, on May 26, 2011 a giant Oak tree and a huge Hickory tree fell on the side of my house; cracked it in two, and then it rained 2" through a huge hole in the hall ceiling. It's not been easy... and you know the irony of all this? I am an insurance agent... but I had no agent to go to for help... I AM the insurance agent! Agents make their own worst clients... I underestimated the severity and the time to repair. And, because I have two precious Yorkies, I just didn't want to leave my home. Soooo, for 30 days, Max (4.5 # 'teacup') and Marley (9 # 'teapot') have been living in 300 sf off the kitchen... It's pretty crowded... The boys have adapted well. I always take them to work with me (hence, Yorkiesatwork) and they seemed to like the fact that we all have to sleep on one big air mattress in the family room. Because of the water damage, I'm getting all new carpet. The pressure is on to finish potty training. I just had to find out what the correct 'currency' was. Turns out it's Kraft marbled cheese sticks in very small bites. Little Max has even been caught faking a pee in order to get a tiny bit of cheese. Soooo, administrators, there's nothing sinister going on here... only absolute chaos surrounding a desperate effort to provide normalcy to two precious Yorkies... Give me a few more weeks, and maybe we'll get back to normal -- whatever that is. |

| My goodness! One tree is bad but two....!!! At least you can blame the agent if insurance doesn't take care of you! Lol. I think I would have went to a hotel. Ha ha! You will get through the mess and life will go back to normal. Max and Marley will be happy! I love Max faking you out. What a smart boy! Good luck on getting all your pieces back together!
