My nerves!!!!!! I have been scared before with my 2 running out of the house or with illness but today was almost the death of me. I let Jer and Bri out to run when i called them Bri didn't come. I couldn't find her I even yelled Cesar Cesar and she usually pops out of where ever she is. I hear her but don't see her. I go by he shed and she is underneath the ramp to the shed and can't get out! I start ripping away the hostas and moving the dirt she won't come, I can't see her . Jersey starts biting and tearing through the hostas he knew something was wrong. She would cry and then stop and wouldn't make a sound I was so afraid for her. My heart was pounding I was in such a panic ( I am not good in panic situation's) I called my neighbor, no answer so I called 911. I was. panting and voice is cracking. "please send somebody my little 3 1/2 lb dog is stuck under the shed, please I need help" It felt like forever then Office Morris came but he wouldn't walk in the house to get to the back door (the gate is locked) So I go running in the front to get him screaming officer. officer come in the kitchen . By this time I'm hyper ventilating bright red face sweat dripping down like a sweat hog trying to tell him where she is. Jersey such a good boy running to the shed to help. Officer starts banging on the ramp, nothing OMG OMG then a neighbor comes over and they are able to lift the ramp and she came running out. She is not going in the yard until the ramp and shed are secure! |
Awe, I'm glad Miss Brielle is ok. That would've been so scary! IMO, you did not over react at all-I would've done the same thing. I'm glad you got some help & your baby isn't hurt. |

This little ones can sure scare the life right out of us that's for sure. I'm just tickled to death for you both, your sweet little girl is ok. I bet DH has some work to do to get that shed secure and up to your inspection. Hugs))) |

Oh Wow!! I would of been just as terrified. Thank god everything turned out ok. Brielle was just being an inquisitive yorkie lil stinker giving her moma a heart attac.i think she has some Louie in her:D What a good boy Jersey is trying to help out his lil sis. |
WOW!! I mean WOW!! just the story scared the ..... out of me. Mina is not allowed in the yard without Mom or one of my daughters (hawks). We have a large shed with a ramp and she has to go past the patio to get to it. Ive asked my hubby to put chicken wire or some other fencing at the bottom. Hope he gets to it before she figures out that she could get under it. So glad that your baby is ok! Have a glass of wine,,geez have a bottle and go to bed. |
I am so glad she is ok. And you too. I didn't laugh at the sweating hog part until Tena did:eek::eek::eek: Promiss:rolleyes: I will say, I did visualize calling the police/911 in Miami and saying my dog is stuck. Would not be the same outcome as it was for you... promiss  |
OMG Laurie I bet you did about have a heart attack!! I am so glad that Brielle is ok and that the officer responded to your 911 call. They would have probably laughed at me here if I had placed a call to come rescue my baby. I hope your nerves have settled now. |

Thanks everyone. sorry I didn't respond sooner, just had major computer problems. What a day! Yes Brielle is just fine now. She was not allowed outside for the rest of the evening. Jersey got extra treats because he was amazing. I wish you could have seen him ripping the plants with his teeth and barking to her. So glad you guys loved the sweat hog description. You should have seen me. lol :D My neighbor wouldn't leave until I was calm and my face went back to my natural color.lol |

My poor husband put a chain link fence around the yard of our first house...then I wanted a privacy fence...then I wanted concrete playyards, then I wanted PCV fences around them, then, I wanted a part of the yard for the boys and a part for the girls, fences of course...then I wanted windows put where I could see all of them from each side of the house...AND that was the outside of the house...LOL..won't even describe what he had bulit for the yorkies in 35 yrs in and on that house.... |

Glad all is well with Bri and our hero Jersey!! |
Happy to hear everything turned out ok. You were smart to call 911. At least they came to help. I can imagine the panic you were feeling that you couldn't get to your baby. My husband left the gate open on our deck about 3 months ago and I looked out and all 4 were gone. I thought I would collapse but fortunately they stayed together and went down to the pool. There is no longer a gate on the deck. It was so sweet of your little boy Jersey to help get to his sister Brielle. Hope all of you are doing better today. |
