yes go to your paypal account and there is a place you can put what its for use gift its not on the front page. the front page you put the amount you wish to give. It also has a place to put the email address you want to send the payment to. The first time i did this it took me some time to figure it out But it really is pretty easy. its not a dumb question

Alrighty, hopefully this makes sense.

Go to Paypal's website.

Paypal

Sign up for an account.

Click the send money tab.

Enter YT's email address in the To slot.

Below that select the personal tab and be sure to select gift.

I think this event is fantastic - what a great way to raise funds for YT! I PM'd admin a couple of days ago but the prize list hasn't been updated yet.

If we do not have funds already in our paypal account but use a checking account to make the payment rather than a credit card, can we gift the donation without incurring any fees? Does anyone know?

Ok, this is my 1st time donating items for the raffle. I sent a PM to admin on this thread with what the 3 items are...is that how I notify admin about them. Will admin add them to the list?

That's how I always do mine and I've never been charged a fee for sending a 'gift'.

And I would hope that the recipient would not have to pay a fee either. I guess I will try it this way.

Yes, that sounds right. Admin will be updating the list every so often, so just keep an eye out to make sure yours gets included. Thanks for donating!

Yes, that's the reason for sending it as a 'gift'. Otherwise the recipient will be charged a fee for the transaction. As a sender, I've never had a fee charged by paypal.
