Texas yorkie meetup....Final details!!!
 

Hi everyone!!

Im so excited about our meetup!! Here are the details you all will need!!

First off, the address is:

Date: June 11, 2011

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. ??

We are still going to have a "pot luck" lunch....Finger foods would be great (sandwiches, chips/dips, pigs in a blanket, tortilla rolls, etc...). We will also need cold drinks, plates, napkins, etc! I am including a list of everyone who has said they are coming....Please respond to this thread and let everyone know what you are bringing so that we sont have alot of the same thing.

Also, please let us know the number of people attending as well as the number of furbabies!

I will keep a master list!

We will also have a pet gift exchange (chinese christmas style). Please bring a gift for each pet participating. (no more than $10.00 per gift)
If you want to get something gender specific, just label the gift with "boy" or "girl".

T-shirts: I own a screen printing shop and thought it would be fun to have t-shirts. I was thinking something along the lines of Texas Yorkie Mom and put yorkie meetup 2011 somewhere on there....Or just Texas Yorkie Meet up 2011...(that way moms, dads, sisters, etc can still where them!) On the members shirts, I will put your screen name and your "real" name on the back so we will know who each other is..(thought that might be fun). Shirts will be $10.00 each. Please let me know if you want shirts when you respond and how many. I most likely will just bring them with me that morning and you can change and pay then. Please let me kow if you have any suggestions on the shirt color or the design!

Would it be possible to have a final count of babies (boys/girls) so each of us can bring the right number of gifts.

Thank you so much for putting this together!! I am very excited to get to meet some of you face to face.

I noticed that someone is already bringing a vegetray,so I will change to a fruit tray of some kind. Ive never done a pet chinese exchange and would love some suggestions.

Anything really!! Treats, a toy, a shirt, whatever you would normally buy for your baby!! Just a little something!!:)

I will be coming with 1 boy and 1 girl. :)

Do I need to bring anything? Sorry yall, I quit getting the emails on this post. Let me know if I can do anything. I sent KendraE my number thru PM.I will bring some dog prizes too! :)

I like the idea of "Texas Yorkie Mom" and our SN on the back of the T-shirts. I like to keep it simple. Still working out the details of what I'm bringing to the potluck & how many are going, so I will post an update on my stats on Monday if not this weekend.

I will also pm you all requested details on shirt size, contact #, etc. as soon as I can no later than Monday. :)

Wish I could make it to this, sounds like fun. It would also be nice to meet some other Texas Yorkie mom's/dad's. Teddie is getting neutered though, so I'm not sure how he would feel a day after... Have fun and enjoy everyone!!
