Sleepless on YorkieTalk Insomniac Thread It's the wee hours and cannot sleep. Wondered if anyone else on YT is up with their Yorkie and what is going on? Are you up but your Yorkie shoring like Tibbe is right now? He's sawing logs and I'm scanning satellite TV stations looking for news. Who is up? Do you just give up and make coffee when you can't sleep or try hot milk or what? |

Glad to know it's not just me and Tibbe - though he is sleeping but watching some of TV news coverage of the Joplin tornado with me. Awful. |
Just work the night shift and gives me a chance to peruse the forums ;) But have always been a night owl and insomniac too :wavey: |
We are all up over here! Just gave Emma and Carmel a Brite Star to chew on. My bf and I are playing UNO. :p Carmel is trying to sleep and Emma is trying to play -- as always! |
I have not been sleeping well for a while now. I wake every couple of hours, and sometimes I am so wide awake in the middle of the night, I could easily get up and make tea (which I do sometimes!) - and by the way - there isn't much on TV in the night - lots of infommercials! but I love the Foodnetwork, so that's what I usually watch. Miss Lizzie and Mr. Darcy follow me out of the bedroom, but only to crash on the couch and - mine too snore!! |
Am back and checking in to see who is on YT. As usual, Tibbe loves to attend me when I am wakeful and can't sleep. He's here with me, tending me as best he can when I hurt and can't sleep. What is better than a Yorkie or "talking" and reading about Yorkie's online when you can't sleep? Have to get some sleep so can be up for Tibbe and I to watch the trial coverage in the morning. |

Used to when I couldn't sleep, I would read. Now it is the 'net more than reading! What is a pond forum? |
Jeannie, Sorry I missed you on the sleepless thread! I was up this morning at 3:00; last night only slept from 2-5:30. Crazy. I'm sorry to hear you're hurting. May I ask what hurts? :( I tend to try to go back to sleep, but then get up and watch recorded shows, get on the internet, make lists for the day ahead, play games on my phone. I think I could have earned several doctorates just during my sleepless hours if I'd just begun years ago! How are you doing today? |
I was up at 3am today and i make coffee :D i hear every movement in the house even if one of the dogs gets a drink of water :rolleyes: and i can't go back to sleep |

Just woke up, thirsty, had Diet Coke, and am listening to the news of Oslo. How in the world can one man do that much damage? That building that was so damaged - the shell is still so intact while all of the windows are completely blown out! Amazing - am wondering what in the world was able to do that and not damage the actual structure of the building? |
I went to bed about midnight, wasn't winning any raffle tickets and got frustrated. |

I am amazed that your pup will sleep when you are awake! Mine are still puppies, but since they came home we have been waking up between 4-4:30am to play and start our day. It is painful somedays, but the attack with puppy kisses when I take them into the living room is worth it. So....to answer your initial question, when I can't sleep and get up with the pups and I usually either start the coffee going or make a cup of hot tea. |

I found YT when I was looking for a Yorkie after I got Tessie. I have become more addicted, but even though I stay on here a lot there is so much I don't know and don't know how to search for it. I work in the lunchroom of a public school so we are out for the summer or I would miss out on a lot. Still don't know the answers on the raffle thread. It is also my first forum and I am so clueless. I couldn't be on FB. I joined a menopause online support group and I don't even know how to maneuver there. |

WEll I am up and sleepless. Also it is a time when I can use hubby's puter to surf the net, etc. My puter is being shipped and I must admit to being impatient to receive it. I just hope it comes soon so that I can have my puter guy set it up for me. All the pups follow me from the bedroom to the TV room when I get up. |

Hi there...it's 1:03 a.m. Hawaii time. I have a hard time getting off the forums too. lol doesn't help when I drink coffee so late. LOL |

I cycle, endless energy then to being drained. I got about 30 min.s sleep last night. Family stuff going on with grown children, a dear dear friend is in ICU. My fur babies are the only ones, that never say the wrong thing. And they love me barefoot, wild haired, purple eyed :) than God for them ! |
I understand i have been through it all, but we have to keep putting our best foot forward hoping everything works out for you |
