I went to bed about midnight, wasn't winning any raffle tickets and got frustrated.

I am amazed that your pup will sleep when you are awake! Mine are still puppies, but since they came home we have been waking up between 4-4:30am to play and start our day. It is painful somedays, but the attack with puppy kisses when I take them into the living room is worth it. So....to answer your initial question, when I can't sleep and get up with the pups and I usually either start the coffee going or make a cup of hot tea.

I did check it but they were having a long conversation about something els. I just checked and I assume my amswer is wrong, I just can't think fast enough. I did not realize until 5 am this morning that you are a new member (sort of) I thought you had been here forever.

That thread is sure fun to read though I'm not informed enough to play. Still, it catches those of us that are pretty new up on some things.

Yes, I only found YT in March '11 when I was searching for "Yorkie Tales", an old Yorkie magazine that used to be published years ago. I was mesmerized from the start and for months was addicted to daily surfing/posting. It is such a great site and my very first - and only - forum.

Tibbe wasn't always that way but as he's gotten older, he doesn't take every step I take always and he has learned that if I am silly enough to wake in the night and get up to do something, he doesn't have to stay up. He wakes up if I get up or move around but when he seens I'm not going to be doing something fun to him now, he will snuggle back in near me and resume his night's sleep. He used to be just like your babies - ready to play at any time of the night or day!!! You have some cuties there!!!! I envy you two!

I found YT when I was looking for a Yorkie after I got Tessie. I have become more addicted, but even though I stay on here a lot there is so much I don't know and don't know how to search for it. I work in the lunchroom of a public school so we are out for the summer or I would miss out on a lot. Still don't know the answers on the raffle thread. It is also my first forum and I am so clueless. I couldn't be on FB. I joined a menopause online support group and I don't even know how to maneuver there.

Same here. I should start a thread "Clueless On YorkieTalk" as I am still learning almost every time I visit. It is great in the night when you wake up and can't get back to sleep which is why I started this thread one night. Was wondering if anyone else was up and what they were doing up and why. It is usually my hurting hip that wakes me and then I am up for an hour or two before I think I can get back to sleep. So it is a great time-filler during those hours.

WEll I am up and sleepless. Also it is a time when I can use hubby's puter to surf the net, etc.
My puter is being shipped and I must admit to being impatient to receive it. I just hope it comes soon so that I can have my puter guy set it up for me.

All the pups follow me from the bedroom to the TV room when I get up.

Hi there...it's 1:03 a.m. Hawaii time. I have a hard time getting off the forums too. lol doesn't help when I drink coffee so late. LOL

I cycle, endless energy then to being drained. I got about 30 min.s sleep last night. Family stuff going on with grown children, a dear dear friend is in ICU. My fur babies are the only ones, that never say the wrong thing. And they love me barefoot, wild haired, purple eyed :) than God for them !
