Stolen Yorkies!!!! I dont understand how people can be so ruthless. Yorkies stolen during Woodland Hills burglary | abc7.com |
Oh yeah and they also took the bed!! |
This is so sad. This is my worst fear that someone would take my babies. I hope they find them and prosecute the sorry people that did this. |
Just like breaking in and kidnapping a family member. So heartbreaking that some are so heartless and I hope they can catch them and return this baby to the rest of the family. |
That is so sad. Patti (Baby Blessing) called me yesterday to ask if I had heard about it and if it was posted on YT. I hope and pray they get their babies back. I would be worried sick if it were my babies. I try to be very low key about having yorkies but you never know who is watching. |
it would literally break me if anyone took any of my kids. its one thing to violate someones home, but to take their babies!?! there is a special place in hell for kidnappers- and the pupnappers better be there to. |

Most people know yorkie's are expensive , and these thieves knew. Poor yorkie's. :( They will probably try to sale them for a quick dollar> These type of people are low lives . Makes me feel ill. |

This is so sad that anyone could commit such a evil deed to these people and their beautiful babies they must be so sad as well |
 This is so scary!! My bf is very protective about our babies, which is why we are paying higher rent in a better neighborhood then in a bad neighborhood risking out babies. I hope they find the thieves & punish them! More importantly, I hope they get their babies back!! I was considering moving to Woodland Hills next year for school too...now I'm going to reconsider! I can't believe people can do such a thing!! I feel so bad for this family! Will keep them in my prayers! |
I've sent prayers their way. I would be devistated if someone stole Cupcake. I am over protective with her because I know they are worth alot of money. She'll get micro-chipped next month during her spaying. I just pray no one steals my little girl. Their hearts must be terrible broken. Just discusting that thiefs are so into themselves. Hope they get caught, still have the dogs (so they can be returned) and go to prison for a long long long time. |
I just posted the news clip with the following message to my FaceBook. I have a relative living in that area who is also a Chi rescue. She has friends that work for Yorkie rescues. I am hoping the word gets out quickly so they can be returned to their family. "Please, if my FB friends living in the Woodland Hills area in Southern California can help find these two yorkies. Since the thieves also took the bed, then I have to assume they were stolen for pets and not resale.: |

Posts from my FaceBook help request. Please keep me informed when they are brought back home. This story really upset me and has me steaming mad. " I saw this on the local news last nite...the old guy that owns them was in tears...so so sad! People that do this kinda stuff really need to go to jail!! Our puppies are like our children so this is nothing less than kidnapping. :( Oh yeah....and MICROCHIP your babies!! " <LI class="uiUfiComment comment_35830 ufiItem ufiItem">"Thanks for answering. I knew you lived close by and will watch for them. My vet doesn't want to micro chip Cupcake until she goes in to be spayed. She said it's very painful for my 3.2 pound baby. She just finished her 4th and last puppy shot today and her rabies shot. I have to wait for another month, but I'll always worry about theives." |
it happened here in Uk as well a few days ago... but this one got inside the property to get the dogs.. for them it was easy to jump a 6ft fence... Crufts champion shocked at thefts |
This is horrible it makes me sick to think of this happening to my dogs. |
It should be a reminder to EVERYONE to be a little more careful with theirs.. i cant imagine what that must feel like. It really does make me sick to really think about it. |

Wow...do people actually plan these thefts? How do they know who owns what dogs? Do people spy on people or something? Those people should just go and get a job spending that much effort to steal people's baby! :thumbdown Do you guys think it's safer to live in an apartment or a house?? I've just been wondering about this after this incident in Woodland Hills. |
We live in an upstairs apartment and i feel its safer, apartments have less places for someone to break in through. |
Okay so this story is really making me think. In less then two week my babies and I are traveling to a very large city for my cousins wedding. We are staying in the nicest hotel that I can find that allows dogs (Hilton). My grandmother has been telling me for a month now that I should not take Jezebel and Olivia because someone is going to take them from the room when I gone. Do you guys think that is a real possibility? Have any of you traveled with your Yorkies and stayed in a hotel? I will be there for 3 nights/ 4days. What precautions should I take to keep my babies safe when I gone from the hotel room and can not take them with me? |
I stayed at Ceasar's in Vegas with my two girls. Everything went well. They did put a tag on the door dog in room. We were in a suite where you had to open two doors to get inside but i do not think you will have any problems. Have a great trip and enjoy. Linda, Sassy and Patti |
We have a lot of doggy daycares here, Also kennels for people needing to leave their pets for a certain number of days. You expect your furbaby to be cared for and protected in these places but lately it is not the case. There have been several fur babies going missing in these places and leaves you wondering what in the world is going on. It's hard on the kennels as far as rep goes as no one wants to leave their pets there.Every day I realize just how many sick people there are in the world. |

Also, as for microchip, my little girl got it when she was little...2-3 lbs and she was fine afterward. He squealed when they did it, but it's only temporarily. My little boy got it when he was 3 lbs and it was fine too. I guess different vet do it differently?? |

Microchips now are smaller than a grain of rice and goes just under the skin. The needle used to implant the chip is scary looking, but they are specially designed to puncture the skin in such a way that it will close back up immediately. There are risks involved as with anything, but are generally considered very safe and effective. |

This gets me thinking , because we are going to Vegas in October for a wedding/bday and ive already asked my mother if she can watch lulu for the weekend, but i dont know about leaving her now... its scary to think about the "what ifs"..... |
There was just a report on the news here in Georgia that someone broke in a mans home and stole one of his Golden Retrievers, he has 4. These dogs were being trained as service dogs and are worth $5,000.00-$20,000.00. |
