I'm not sure if I will be able to come on July 9th. My dh wants to come, too, but he is on call that weekend. He is on call every other weekend. Maybe he can get someone to take his place for a few hours, though.

As far as things to do at the meet-up. When I was talking with Kendra we thought a lunch would be good since we will be trying to get together around lunch time before it gets too hot in the Texas heat. I also suggested that we have a raffle so if anyone wants to donate something for it please let me or Kendra (KendraE) know and we will start to put a list of raffle items together. Just thought it would be neat if everyone got to leave with a little gift.

Any other suggestions would be great and we would love for everyone to attend.

Lunch and raffle sound like great ideas! Are we including spouses or family?

I think there's quite a few dh's going!! And my daughter is coming.... Don't know if my son wil want to or not, lol!

I thought it was the 16th? I'm out of town on the 10th so the 9th is just making it. I think lunch sounds like a great idea, do potluck?

Yes, Im thinking potluck too...I havent sent out new pms yet...The 9th may not work either.

We may have to do June 25th afterall.....I was trying to change it because there was a couple that couldnt make it that day. And August gets super busy with school sports beginning, not to mention its HOT!! I am going to talk with Tammie later. I am so sorry for all the date swaps...hopefull by this evening we will have a DEFINATE date!!!

I love Tammies idea of a small gift exchange! And I am still planning on hopefully making t-shirts....I really hope this all comes together! If we can get past this 1st one, maybe the next one wont be as difficult!

The new date is June 11th. We couldn't use the facility on the 25th so that is the date we could get it without going into August.

Wow, I would love to go but cant drive,,,,, If anyone is in the kempner/cove/killeen area and wouldn mind a full vehicle please let me know cause i would love to goo.

Definately!! We are inviting all fur sibling that are small! We dont want the little ones to be scared for the bigger guys!! But, maltese, Chihuahua, s**tzu...etc...small breeds are great!!
