I heard back from the Vet's office. She did contact them... but she still feels it's parasites... I don't know what to do at this point... I feel like going further would be an invasion of her privacy... she was made aware... but, what the hey! I would like to just talk to her ....

I called that number anyway... it's a fax line.

Just read this thread and I'd like to say that the people on this site are truly a miracle. I can't believe that amount of responsibility everyone takes not only for their own babies, but other's babies as well.

So happy you all are here.

With that being said, been praying non stop for this family.
Hope to get updated soon.

The Vet did call me back, they did talk to her.... she still thinks it's a parasite....

been researching that for the past 2 hours.... came up with Babesia that looks like soot....

I don't know.... hopefully she will come back on and let us all known what's going on... I've been thinking about that thread since she first posted... and been worried about her and her pup... and that newscast this morning put me over the edge about it...

Next thought: Create an option when people sign up to join YT to allow contact by phone from Admin or a Moderator to alert them of a possible emergency. Emergency status to be verified by Admin or Moderators and access to phone numbers allowed only to Admin or Mods.

But I can see where this could get sticky, legally. Hmmmm.

Server logs have ip addresses coupled with time. In an emergency that is really all you need for the police. Certainly there are ways to circumvent that but most folks aren't aware of them so it is mostly true.
