Wrong Zipcode... 20740 Berwyn Heights, MD I heard back from the Vet's office. She did contact them... but she still feels it's parasites... I don't know what to do at this point... I feel like going further would be an invasion of her privacy... she was made aware... but, what the hey! I would like to just talk to her .... I called that number anyway... it's a fax line. |

Just read this thread and I'd like to say that the people on this site are truly a miracle. I can't believe that amount of responsibility everyone takes not only for their own babies, but other's babies as well. So happy you all are here. With that being said, been praying non stop for this family. Hope to get updated soon. |

The Vet did call me back, they did talk to her.... she still thinks it's a parasite.... been researching that for the past 2 hours.... came up with Babesia that looks like soot.... I don't know.... hopefully she will come back on and let us all known what's going on... I've been thinking about that thread since she first posted... and been worried about her and her pup... and that newscast this morning put me over the edge about it... PS (I think my update was deleted too):eek: :D |
Next thought: Create an option when people sign up to join YT to allow contact by phone from Admin or a Moderator to alert them of a possible emergency. Emergency status to be verified by Admin or Moderators and access to phone numbers allowed only to Admin or Mods. But I can see where this could get sticky, legally. Hmmmm. |

The vet looked at this black thing and told her whatever it was it was not alive. He must have looked under a microscope. She lives in an area where the furnace has probably been turned off for a couple of weeks now so maybe she is right. If the black things are all over the house and not just on their skin I would think whatever it is it is not alive. Something is strange here. |
Well, she said that she thought she had Morgellons disease. Just google it and you'll can read for hours. Nobody knows what it is or what causes it, and many think that it isn't real. |

Glad to hear she's ok. It's a wake up call for all those that don't have carbon monoxide detectors in their homes to get one. I never had one until I had a scare. I bought a wee bank owned house last winter. It had been winterized by the bank, so when I got keys to the house, I turned everything back on. The house needed alot of remodeling/updating work. I knew I was tired all the time, but I was working full time during the day and going over to the wee house to work on it every night, so I made sense that I should be tired. One night after working at the wee house, I was too tired to drive home, so I just crashed there. My son panicked when he woke up the next morning because I wasn't there & called my parents. They were worried I'd hurt myself on a power tool or fallen from a ladder, and rushed over to the wee house. There I was sleeping on the living room floor. They woke me & I just felt sick, like I had the flu real bad. They took me to the emergency clinic and as soon as my mum explained the situation, the nurse knew exactly what it was. Turns out it wasn't the furnace, but the water heater! It was improperly vented with a flexible clothes dryer vent :eek: |

Guess who just called me????? :D I just got off the phone with Sheryl! I was totally shocked... she is definitely a very nice lady and is doing okay, and Benji is okay too. She's getting a CO detector tomorrow morning. Yea! She hasn't been back on here due to PC problems but promises to be back soon. We talked for almost an hour! Yes, mostly about Yorkies! I am looking forward to seeing her on here more often, again one very sweet lady.... I don't believe how relieved I am.... I think I just breathed for the first time in 5 days! |
